  1. Hi Davy. Enjoyed that mate, thanks for sharing. That 41yd'r Chaz had.....in the pic, look's like he shot it with a bow, and the rabbits holding the arrow ......great pic!! Bill.
  2. Hiya guy's. Thank you for the comment's.
  3. Hi all. Just put a new scope on the HW100 today, couldnt get on with the mappro6. Have now got a Hawke Sidewinder30 with SR12 rectile, much better for my eye's. After zeroing the scope I had a walk around the permission, and quite honestly I was not expecting to see much. Then, I noticed a movement in the corner of a field, had a look through the scope and saw its arse dissapear into the hedge. I was in totaly the wrong place, so made my way around to where I could get a good view, and chance of a shot. Crept up the edge to within 40 yads of the far hedge, and layed down.
  4. Not at all Si mate, that's the trouble with forum's, sometimes, you know what you'd like to say, and then it come's out all wrong when you type it It was down to the way I typed it up I think mate.....so Im the wally Bill.

  6. Hi Zini. Spot on advice mate glad you got my drift,I was just trying to help. Bill.
  7. Hi Zini. No I was not refering to the other post mate. I was thinking, IF the MK 1's were still filtering through, there could still be problem rifles out there. But if the gun shop's are confident the Mk2's are now circulating, there should not be any problems. Just didnt want anyone to have problems with buying, or reccomending the R10. That's it.......simples
  8. Hi Zini. With all due respect, your R10 has been good to you, and you have been lucky enough not to suffer the problems a lot of other R10 owners have in the past. The R10 is without doubt a nice rifle, and you are getting excellent results with your particular R10, but are you SURE B.S.A. have sorted the problems mate. I know they were having good numbers sent back for upgrading and repairs. That's what put me off getting one, and why i opted for the HW100T in the end. "The R10 is a deadly bit of kit if used right" same as all rifles, but if they dont work right??..... E
  9. Mooch. Have a look on the B.S.A owners club site. You can have a read there mate, give you an idea.
  10. Its a small hand held drill Rain, one of your mate's may have one. Here is a link....hope it help's you. http://www.ehow.com/how_4970282_engrave-wood-dremel.html May be a good idea to practice on a scrap bit of wood first, if you go for it.
  11. Hi Moocher. I know the R10 suffered a lot of problem's in the beggining. I was looking at one, but was put off by the fault's. B.S.A may have sorted it now?? So I went for the HW100T, quality through and through, a great rifle, and a joy to shoot, very quiet. I suppose you take's your chance mate. Good luck with your choice.
  12. Hi rain. Love your avatar picture, fine looking dog....Saluki cross?? Re the stock, you could trace and transfer picture, then carfully burn it on with soldering iron maybe? Bill. yh mate it is only six month old in pic and is that the only way you think you can do it not like a laser machne or something along them lines Laser would do it for sure, but may cost a shilling or two. How about a Dremmel over a traced picture?
  13. Hi Lex... Look's nice mate, good job. .......but the tile's are gash

  15. Hi rain. Love your avatar picture, fine looking dog....Saluki cross?? Re the stock, you could trace and transfer picture, then carfully burn it on with soldering iron maybe? Bill.
  16. Totaly agree with you. To much faffing around, and the length of the cocking lever will mean a lot of movement. Cocking in a prone position would be a test Alright for a target or plinking rifle I suppose.
