Hello micky Sadly some of my return emails dont get through others spam filters or some other reason as they simply come back to me as message returned, or message error and such like. Ok ok , i was wrong, what can i say? ( i aint kissing yours or anybodys feet) as for me wearing a muzzle, my wife has been telling me i should ware a muzzle or my big gobs going to get me in s***. As for being a gimp of woz, not a chance, i understand you get upset if he has more than one If i had of known you were his mate i wouldnt have held back nice truck by the way, better than my 4x4. Believe it or not there is a book on sale called " How to make friends and influence people" dont suppose youve ever read it??? I hear strong stuffs good at doing harnesses and such like, perhaps he can make you a muzzle for your green eyed monster? just a thought -

If you look at both rabbits they have blood on their noses, this happens when you use a priest on rabbits in the net with a little bit of a heavy hand. Thais i can say has happend to me on many nights out when getting tired or being a little over inthusiastic. ( now wait for the debate about not chinning them) Woz i can assure you is as a true a sportsman you will ever meet, if he wasnt he wouldnt have spent 2 days at my home being shown longnets. And yes i did take the pi$$ out of him for being heavy handed but im sure woz wouldnt stoop so low as to shoot a rabbit and say it was netted.

im flattered, but in truth im just like many longnetters, we understand our drops. To understand your drop i have sent you a pm, if your happy to go along with what i suggest in the pm i will see what help i can offer. But in truth some places just dont suit the long nets.

Ive had them since i was 5, now 39 and get them about once every few weeks. Total W***** lay me up for days. just got over a 4 day one (fri - tues in bed), sickness, the s*** and a head ache like im dying afterwards but this has been the worst. Ive lost 1/2 stone in weight from not eating and the puking and s*****g and had to spend 70hours in bed for the fecking thing to ease. wouldnt wish them on my worst enimy

net making is a mind set, time is nothing more than a segment drawn out on a clocks ticking hands, its about whats going on in your mind that needs to be correct for you to make nets with any type of regularity. I have lost count how many long nets i have made, be those short stop nets to the larger 100 yrd working length beasts i have made last year. Then theres the days where i make 30+ purse nets but theres also the days where i dont even look at a net making needle. What it is for me on a personal level is its a job, something i need to do to pay the bills, but also its just a mind

It is with a heavy heart and a sence of letting the members of this site down that i am now in a position where i have to make this anoucement. A number of you will be waiting on myself sending you out your copy of my forth comming longnetting book. Due to a delay at the distribution office of the publishers it has taken me far longer than i ever imagined to get hold of your copys. I fully understand that your order was made in good faith and i can only assure you that there has been no intentional plan mislead anyone about the release date. I myself was planing to do a book signing next week

same with any net im afraid. use it where theres twigs and they will get picked pu, use it on a flat horse paddock then no they wont. Use it ferreting in a wood of course it will, set it on a golf course no it wont. anyone seeing a pattern here? I have used all sorts of nets be they machine made or hand made hemp nets and one thing that is the same for all of them is this, if there is rubbish on the set the net will pick it up. If the lighter weight nets were so shite how come i rate my best killing net as a hand made one in a twine that aquates to a 3z?, whilst the worst net ive ever

not wanting to get involved with this debate on a point scoring issue but wildboy what you cant see is what goes on behind the forum. The 3hours of phone calls, the lending of books, offering hints and tips and advice based on many years of going out and working the nets.. Theres so much more to what members do for others than what you will see on face value. Between myself and two other members offering advice on this subject there is nearly 100yrs of practicle experiance, not stuff read from books or regergitated opinions of others but hard won experiance. as for not helping people out,
