  4. Thats a fine looking pup there Slurp! How old, what Lines etc. Love the colour. Seems mine appear to have a good idea what to do http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqGCdQ92YI4
  5. Similar reasons here, I've had my garage broken into a few times since I moved here and my back garden is right next to the garage, I would'nt dare leave my terriers outside because they definately would be stolen. Ive put CCTV up in case it happens and when they're in the garden I'm always with them. Ideally, I'd like to keep them outside, my dog (Who died recently) used to sleep in the garage with access to a dog flap and seemed to prefer sleeping in there? Did'nt have any break- ins when that arrangement started :11: I got home from work one morning and some B******S had tried to steal
  6. Take a bottle of Iodine which you can buy at any chemists, cotton wool or makeup remover pads, bottle of boiled water (Obviously cooled :11: ) or Irriclens (Normally used to clean wounds on people which you can also buy from a good chemists) a clean towel for patting any wounds dry. Gloves for yourself to protect you from their diseases  Wash any wounds on the dog as soon as you're finished ratting and put dabs of iodine on cuts and scratches, and wash eyes out with the sterile water and cotton wool pads. Check the dogs paws for any sharp objects or cuts, try and soak any injured paw fo

  9. Just cos they look cute while they're like that doesnt mean they wont be tested to their full potential when they're ready, but I can see what you mean :11: I'm just so pleased they get on well, its a good start to a working relationship

  11. She's a lovely looking pup, hope she does well for you. Where did you get her? What lines etc.
  12. I was just wondering, should i leave the pups together in the cage or should i put them in separate cages just for tonight? I think they should be separated to let the new pup settle in but my mate says they should just be put in together. Im going to stick to my guns unless someone advises me otherwise. Thanks in advance.

  17. When I was a child my dad used to take us for walks in the country every sunday. One day my sister found a dead rabbit and wanted to 'rescue' it!! It even had no eyes left My poor dads face was a picture when he had to say no to her She began screaming the place down and just at that point my little brother fell into a stream and started to cry. What a day that was :11: My sister regularly used to rescue animals much to my parents dismay but as she got older they were alive at least :11:
  18. Just wanted to say, my dog used to jump up all the time, I was told to completely ignore her when she did this and encouraged visitors to do the same; after about two weeks this behaviour completely stopped and she never did it again. Ive also been using the shake the bottle with my new pup when she jumps up at the sofa and she is already learning not to do that. I'm by no means an expert in training dogs but these two methods seemed to work for me.
  19. Just wanted to say thanks for all the nice comments, I hope some of you will get to see her in the future, can't wait!!
  20. Thats excellent news!! I bet you are thrilled!! :thumbs-up:
