  7. 24 hours without one!! Doesn't sound much, but its an achievement for me!! Never been known before. So far, so good. Thanks for all the help guys.
  8. Sounds great. Let me know when and where when your sorted with the move. Thanks very much.
  9. I was just wondering if anyone on here knows who I should contact to get involved with this club? I'd like to get to know some people who work their dogs in my area so that I can get my dogs started when they're ready. As you can see, at the minute they're a bit young but that doesnt mean I cant go along and meet some people in the meantime.
  10. Was on my way home from work at around 8.30 on thurs 22nd Nov and as I zoomed passed the Laverick Hall Road, Blyth I saw two blokes with at least two patterdales and maybe ferrets? Was just curious as to whether they post on this site? The dogs they had were clearly workers by the look of them. I'm just wondering if I can get to know them (Who ever they are) as I dont know any people who hunt in this area. Ive got two pups who will be tested to their full potential when they're ready and it would be nice to get out there with others first.
  11. Jeepers!! You've done well since you stopped!! You must be really proud of yourself, you have inspired me to stick with it. Thanks. I still haven't had one and its the afternoon!! (Which is very good for me). Thing is, I work in Health Care and really should know better!! Ive even seen the very worst effects of smoking and I still want one!! How stupid is that eh?! Hope my will power holds out...
  12. Thats great!! Are you using any nicotene replacements? Ive got a patch on today and so far, so good. Perhaps it is just will power? I don't know, but I'm determined this time (Again)
  13. Was just about to say same thing. Hope you get it sorted Molly.
  14. For the last year I have tried unsuccessfully . Ive tried patches, chewing gum, you name it Ive tried! Has anyone tried hypnotism? I'm thinking of trying that and was wondering how good it is?
  15. Nice to see your pics Staffy 1. Nice to see your staffy working. How does she do at ratting? I have a mate with a staffy who wants to come ratting with me when my pups are ready.
  16. My patterdale pup seems to have the exact same problem, been to vets with her and was given some 'Malaseb - Antibacterial & Antifungal shampoo' as the vet thinks it may be a Fungal Infection? I have to bath her in it 3 times a week for the next two weeks. The stuff has to stay on her skin for ten minutes while she's in the bath. I'll let you know how it works out. If it does sort it I'll PM you and send you whats left of it.
  17. Phew! Great news that she's ok.
  18. The pup I got was weaned off her mother between 3 and 4 weeks using Weetabix and milk, then onto puppy food between 4 and 5 weeks. I really have no idea if that is the correct method or not but my pup appears to be doing fine at the minute. Im sure others on this site will have some suggestions for you soon mate.

  23. For weeks before we got this pup we argued about what to call her, had I known that she would look like this we could have just settled on Dracula!
