  1. :thumbs-up: Got my locator problem sorted. Big thanks to The Poacher.
  2. That was only the second time she showed any interest to be honest, harness is now gone for that very reason and Im saving up to get them both a locator collar, I know they're still very young and Im not intentionally looking for anything to ground but I dont want to take any chances. I have to watch them like a hawk when they're off the lead now On the subject of locator collars, does anyone know where to get them at a reasonable price? They are so expensive and I have to get two.
  3. Theres one on Sun 1st April at Bedlington Cricket Club. Terrier and Lurcher show I believe.

  15. Thanks for all the advice, Im getting a brush that pulls out the dead hair and it looks like I'll have to cut her fur around her eyes as she cant see because of it. She's casting quite a bit at the minute too, the weather isn't helping mind as its nearly as mild as spring!!
  16. I have a Lakeland x Russell and am not really sure what to do with her coat when it grows? I personally think I should just leave it completely but others have said to 'pluck it' or 'strip it'. So much conflicting advice thatIm now not sure at all Any suggestions and reasons would be welcomed. Thanks in advance.
  17. Wow!! That was utterly crazy!! Just shows you what the media is capable of doing to people who dont know any better!! Mind you, I would expect a 'Breeder' to have a bit more sense about her. Today, I was walking my 14 week old Patterdale and a man who was walking a Dalmation stood stock still until I had passed with the fear of god on his face! God only knows what kind of dog he thought I was walking!!
  18. Love the look of your dog!! You Germans are very lucky being able to do that within the law, with a bit of luck things may change for the better here one day soon (Sooner the better for me mind!!) Happy hunting and welcome to the site too!!

IMHO I would only ever go for Honda. In my experience they are the most reliable and trustworthy make.
