She is 10 weeks this friday Believe me, it would have been so much better if I'd had ladders!! I was like Private Benjamin (Only fatter) trying to pull myself over the fences Im also covered in bruises today. Im just pleased to have found her, I would have been gutted if I'd lost her like that She was like lightening going down the street! How are your two?

Well, I spent 45 minutes with the little one watching every move she made and it was as if she was taking the P**s!! She ran all over the garden and did a few dances here and there, jumping around my feet and generally having the time of her life!! But I am no further forward in finding her escape route She's a clever little bugger! What right do people have to make judgements about how parents bring their children up in the hunting world It usually means spending quality time with your kids and bonding with them - far better that than leaving them with anyone whilst you go out on the lash all the time or beat them to buggery. Im NOT saying you shouldnt go out and enjoy yourself mind, its just I know people who never spend any time with their kids and go out drinking constantly leaving them with just anyone. I have been thinking a lot about this because it really has got me MAD! Its an absolute disgrace what that teacher said. If he was going to school talking about his parents arguing all the time or taking drugs etc - then fair enough, but he's NOT. He's obviously lucky enough to be spending quality time with his dad doing what is only natural. I spoke to my cousin last night (Who is a primary school teacher) and he says you should go straight to the head of the school and lodge an official complaint; he was disgusted and he HATES any form of hunting. I'll beat any ferret in the land Im just SO pleased I caught her.

I got up at 5am and went out with the dogs, didnt catch anything but got some good practice in with my catapult (Im a better shot with my air rifle ). I got home with two exhausted dogs and thought I'd let the ferts have a play in the garden. Had loads of fun with them for well over an hour and then I discovered the little kit was no where to be seen . Now, I have got EVERY possible escape route blocked with mesh (Or so I thought) and I didnt leave them for one second. Chewing on a carcase is better for their teeth than biscuits, also I think day olds are crap as its only a fluffy egg. Mine get whole carcase and very rarely get biscuit when i've not got anything dead knocking around which isn't very often Here's their tea tonight. Apart from the huge fight that followed They are tucking in right now.
