  3. how many standard poodles u seen work cos ive not seen any n people r knocking lurchers out of them n how many pure salukies get worked over here ? same with greyhounds how many pure bulls u seen coursing a hare but people put them in lurchers for the job i would always go from working stock but im not that far up me own arse to discount anything its whats in the dog
  4. most whippets will work if given the chance n greys should have it in them both being sighthounds its bred into them for generations a couple of pedigrees does'nt render them useless bring them up as a working dog and they should do the job some people r just afraid of there prized crosses out of this n that get dumped off something out of non workers

  9. use alpha sporting dog 15 kg bag 14 quid as a base food n add what u like to it does mine spot on dont get fooled into fancy names n massive prices load of shite
  10. pack animals how long ago was that the stone age the domestic dog has adapted to family life and will continue to adapt what would u rather a well looked after dog getting left for a few hours or a dog getting past on every six months to some dodgy homes it will settle into a new routine in a couple of weeks and be quite content weve all got to adapt lifes not a bowl of cherrys by the way my dog doesnt get left

  13. been reading lots of topics on beddy x whips lately and alot of people seem to put them down as a novelty type. why is this as this type has been going for many a year . people seem to say get a whippet r something in the region of 23 to 24 tts.but to me its what the person requires from the dog n type of land u run on and each type has its own place in my eyes .and why not get the type u want instead of something someone recomends surely u will have a better relationship with the type u want from the start
  14. as said which do u prefer for lamping . i e a speedster that if overshoots once the rabbits in the hedge and away or something thats a bit slower n not going to over run to easily

  16. years ago with our old lurcher blue got one on the 14lb mark think thats about top wack for a hare the biggest one we had like

  21. if a bedlington x whippet is a lurcher n a russell x whippet is a whirrier or other types i.e patt r lakey how does that work out whats the diffrence
