i do a lot of shooting down in your patch with my mossberg plinkster reasonable priced gun and with the tacktical stock aiot easier to handl never had a problem with accuracy 18" barrell pm me if you want to meet up and have a go i use vmax 17grs and thay are spot on also i know for a range i use close to you ur lucky ive got to travel down from neath to use it anyway good luck give me a pm if you need any help chris -

WELL HERE I GO. WENT OUT STALKING FALLOW DEER FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER YESTERDAY AND IM STILL AMAZED WITH WHAT HAPPEND. WE WENT OUT AROUND 7AM JUST BEFORE IT GOT LIGHT MY MENTOR TOLD ME TO GO DOWN THE EDGE OF A FIELD ABOUT A HUNDRED YARDS FROM HIM AND HE STAYED WHERE HE WAS AT A GOOD VANTAGE POINT, ANYWAY I MAKE MY WAY DOWN HE WAVES HIS MOBILE PHONE TO ME TO MAKE SURE IVE GOT MINE TO KEEP IN CONTACT WITH EACH OTHER I WAVE MINE BACK SO OFF I GO ON MY WAY I JUST GET TO MY SPOT WHEN I HERE A SHOT THEN ANOTHER IM THINKING OH GREAT IM NOT GETTING ANY ACTION GWYNS GOT ONE THERE WONT BE A SHOT FOR

i own a 17hmr and like you stepped up from airguns to rifles not so long ago i have to say firstly that if you go for the 17 you wont be disapointed the longest freehand shot on a rabbit ive taken so far was around the 120 paces and it abselutly smashed it! i was amazed going from a 40yard max pcp rifle right now about the gun its a mossberge plinker with a mod right its quite loud again going from a airarms s510 true but unless your sitting on your ring and poping off bunnies you will not have a problem the rounds are more but for vmax 17gr your looking at 30p for a rabbit i didnt think tha

now then you got a PIC?? do you need an fac license with this rifle?? Elliott i would think you would need FAC matey mate no disrespect and im not taking the yellow stuff here but i think you need to look into guns and what you are looking to buy the only thing you can own is a air rifle without a fac mate try to find someone who can help you out and always respect what your shooting even when using an air rifle to many accidents with air rifles lately take care donk!
