    it depends how it as bin brought up and buyin one you get em for free and i wouldn't get it myself if it was a massive one and you only use it for rabs but not sayin it wont be any good but its horses for courses so a bit more info would get you more advice wat kinda land you run and wat u run to be retrieved :-) how often you run it how big is the dog

    my pup was really small runt of litter but since i got it sorted it had the worst possible start but in past few week really takin shape 9inch when i got it at12wk really short bodied but still only 14 inch bout 17wk old but if it keeps growin steady away i will be happy i got a big bull x does wat he is for so if it makes 21 inch and a good rab dog i will be happy and eating shit my pregnant bitch kept doing that but she just stopped atb and keep us updated i feed mine pedigree pup food 4 small meals aday and some scraps

    Ya figures dont add up pal is it 1/4 deer or grey i ask this question before on percentages tread and that,s anwser i guy give me ,the sire was deerhound grey x saluki grey and the dam was 1/4 deerhound 1/4 bull 1/2 grey I would just call that a lurcher to lurcher mate cause trying work perentages and fractions on that bit waste time. you could get strong throw back from dh/ saluki/ bull. and its roughly half greyhound. i.m with you lurcher x lurcher ,it thrown the deerhound rough coat with a bull head ,but with feather ears 3/8 grey 3/8 deer 1/8 sal 1/8 bull

    Glad to hear it pal but the scum shouldn't be out doing it then dumping them if there is to much heat with the dogs they shouldn't have done it in first place i know how it feels going to the kennels and no dogs its horrible they really do want naming shaming and dealing with they get me mad so they do jealous c**ts thats what they are but the other thing is there is probably some1looking after the dogs for a pup deal these people are just as bad in my book rant over but all the best

    Same as you pal i dont like puttin them back out when they bin in they all house trained and im allergic but i got my bitch in house wit pups at the mo

    longdogs are a pure breed or a cross between any of the long dogs but lurchers were created to hunt but not to look like a running dog(longdog) back in the days when it was illegal for normal folk to hunt but now longdogs are just racing machines imo or show dogs and lurchers are or should be bred worker to worker(best to best) and remember speed aint everything normally if they got good top end speed they lack on the turn..... Well thats my oppinion anyway

    good on you pal i just done it with 2 pups one had to be put to sleep but the other one is coming on leaps and bounds but wont be ready till next season but it is worth it but like has been said they only go out and do it to another dog but what we to do

    my kennels are good enough for all year round just a normal raised kennel with plenty of bedding in a plastic bed inside i do close the hole up abit and give them warm water in there food and i brought the pup indoors because she was the runt and she had a sh¥t start in life so she in for now but wil be out in a month or two then she is living the dogs life it never does them any harm but at the mo gotta go out and smash the water a couple of times a day but if i did think it was a problem to the dogs i would put a heater in but i honestly dont think it is a problem

    i try and get two pups on at once me just how i do it i always kennel em together never had any problems and them chasing each other about isn't a bad thing they only do it till there about old enough and recall is never a problem because there is two i find if you got the one pup and you take the older dog out the pup whines and if there on there own normally you get a shy pup unless in house i like my pups to be just that and another pup never does it no harm and bad habits they pick up off each other none should have bad habits thats what you let them get but they do pick good habits up lik

    nice dogs pal but i wouldn't make sure there bowls were always topped up but each to there own pal but still nice dogs anyway
