Update on the catapult fiasco....sorry it's long winded but as with my previous posts, it's more to give people a warning before they shell out their hard earned cash rather than to get my 25 quid back, I've given up on that! When I say a load of noice it was like 2 secs worth, I don't know you could well be right biti only saw one cat and the ferrets were running about. Anyhow will see what happens over next few nights. Cats will usually run from ferrets, I used to have a big tom, he'd been run over 4 times, scrapping all the time, a real hard fecker.....tried to introduce him to my hob in my shed and he was climbing the walls to get out. Don't get me wrong, if he'd have got hold of the hob it'd would have been dead in seconds, but they don't want to know.

I'm a non smoker but the smoking ban totally f'cked up nights out. I met up with a load of ex work mates last Christmas, 15 of them and probably about 10 of them smoked so spent half the night stood outside, so everyone else joined them outside.........stood outside bloody freezing ain't my idea of a good night out. The atmosphere in pubs is nothing like what it used to be, possibly half the reason why loads of pubs have closed down. What's the point in spending 3 quid plus per pint but standing outside drinking it, you might aswell get a load of cans in for a fraction of the price and sit

I put money on it being two cats squaring up to each other in your garden to be honest....cats make a right row when they're squaring up, even if they were trying to get in the ferret hutch (which I'd be very surprised about), they wouldn't be making a noise while they were doing it. Generally, most cats would not tackle a ferret, not because they couldn't kill them, but because cats will only really kill things that can't damage them back, that's why a lot of cats won't tackle rats. possibly because you don't have to shell out much to get started in the first place? either a couple of hundred quid or get the lurchers for free.....you'd probably need to shell out at least a grand up front to get a pair of pedigrees. anyway, there's plenty of people churning out pedigrees out there, hence the reason why loads of KC breeds are fecked (brother/sister matings etc.)
