    Myth! i released a load many years ago in a wood near me It always puzzeld me abit as the old poachers used to be of the opinion that keepers had something to do with black rabbits that if they went they new poachers were operating in the area.I believe it to be true that they put white pheasents down for that reason though i remember shooting 3 of them at roost in the bad old days and a very well known lurcher man doing the same wood later and it came on top for him but luckily he got away a few years ago on an estate i keepered on,we released white cocks but to see how far t

    totally agree.ive spent around 20years fishing for eels.we get many perch around here at the 4lb mark but big pike(30lb plus)are rare.

    There is a small pond in the middle of an industrial estate in Bedford holds loads of coarse fish But it holds 7 carp over 30LLb and a grass carp well over a metre long hardly anyone knows its there , ive not been there for years,remind me please.... your too far away to fish it cant blame a man for trying.wouldnt want to anyways mate.ive plenty of waters which hold big carp but i aint a carp fisherman.been there,done that although i may go dangle a worm with a stalking rod if this hot weather carries on LOL I just fished it for eels but fed the carp with floaters just t

    i got done a year or so ago,when i was in interview,i said prove it in which they asked do i want to see the CCTV footage idiot,i was under a camera.didnt take my tickets but when i moved to another county the firearms officer come to check my cabinet,all went well,had a good chat but just as he got in the car he said,oh by the way,we dont take kindly to violence ,a couple of days later i got a letter saying along the lines of,any more violence etc,they WILL pop in to empty my cabinet aint worth the hassle,i dare not do nothing now.good luck in court pal.

    I would love to, this lad's not only claiming fame from a line of dogs he's no connection to but he also makes the £££££,s from breeding pups and then putting pedigrees to them that no one else should know. The mother to his bitch was an out right spewer that a friend of mine had the misfortune to own.     a dead cat,feck keeping back one of them smelly bloody things.ive caught alot of eels in crayfish pots too but you really cant beat hearing that alarm buzz and the pull back when you strike into them.unfortunately the nearest location to catch eels to me is over an hours drive if they were nearer,id be at them all the time,it piss's me off just thinking about it.

    i always have a larger bait on one rod,usually a piece of fish as this is the bait i catch the larger eels on.

    Sorry,stupid post BUT! what size hooks?singel or trebel? At knight i guess from the other thrend? Along the bank?or in deep water? Do you use a float? I thought that people use a long singel line accross and some drops taking off that? I have no idea of eel fishing.
