    Lot to think about at the moment, I've just sold my house and been looking for a new place, I'm thinking maybe get my feet under the table on the land and give it a few months then BOOM! Thanks for asking man

    Sods Law mate LOL. I've worked hard at getting land and nothing then my amping partner ran into a guy who's a gamekeeper on an estate with stacks of stuff on it, Typical!! LOL

    Picked up 300 acres last week in prime Bunny/Fox/Deer region. Was well happy so thought I should get out with the lamp. Night proved very productive bagging 12 bunnies and this Dog Fox, I saw his eyes about 300 yards away in the forest and called him to within yards, he would of kept running but I stopped him and the HMR the rest. Great night and will be back next week! I then walked further into the field and found this! I think Charles was after another snack!

    Thanks for all the advice guys, probably a little 'Advice Overkill' maybe ? LOL Had my first nights laming on the ground tonight, saw no deer but had a stack of rabbits and called in a nice dog fox to about yards where he became a victim to the HMR (Which seemed to be more than enough calibre to deal with it although it's not a 'desegnated' fox calibre LOL)

    Picked up a real nice 300 acre Estate surrounded by Forestry renown for housing Fallow, the Gamekeeper said he saw 7 running through the day before we got there. At the moment I only have 223 on my license for Fox, what would I need to do to legally shoot the Fallow? Obviously thinking I need at least 243 but are there any courses or anything I need to go on? Thanks for the advice in advance.

    Typical Gwent LOL, Thought it was too good to be true! You think maybe they are just highlighting the 22RF as suitable for Fox when they just naturally except the fact that 17HMR and 223 are suitable? Just a thought

    2 Weeks after being approved after having my Ticket for 28 months my Open Ticket arrives and I eint complaining! Bit weird though, they put 22RF down for Fox/Vermin control and 17HMR and 223 for Vermin Control?? Strange Gwent Strange!

    No LOL! I was a hundred yards away shooting a ballistic tip in the opposite direction into the ground off shooting sticks! Who knows though LOL

    Just heard from the Police and Farmer, Apparently Idiot told the police it was his land LOL, Police knocked the farmer up and he told them straight apparently it's not going any further due to the guy being a total idiot!!

    Was using a 17G Federal Premier, Rabbit jumped as I shot so no LOL No way anything went near his place, I was on the other side of the field 100+ yards away and was shooting down the field towards other fields in the opposite direction!

    Just got in from an hours lamping with a mate. Have a farm I've been shooting for 10 years, the farmer was the guy who signed for my FAC 2 and a half years back and I have a great relationship with his family, I just helped his son get an FAC. Was on there tonight with the HMR, had a shot at a rabbit when all of a sudden about 100 yards away a guy with a lamp starts shining across and shouting at us, he lived in a cottage the other side of the field.     Hey Tea Pot I think every area AND every case is different. I have heard of some guys having theirs open straight away! I have mates whose were opened up after a year, I was promised mine after a year but then refused after 18 months LOL, It's a right lottery mate, my advice is to write a letter every 6 months, that's what I did.     Petty stoked. Had a call off Gwent today to say that they had received my letter and decided to open up my ticket for me. This is the 2nd letter I have written, had my ticket about 28 months, have 22 Rimmie, 17 HMR and 223 on it, hoping it all gets opened! Straight away means 2 more farms now open to me, well happy!

    I bred a litter of Border Pups 4 dogs 2 bitches. the Dogs flew out quicker than the Bitches!

    For some strange reason I can't post on the Sales section so asking on here (Before anyone asks NO I've done nothing wrong LOL.) Anyone know for any quality Saluki/Whippet/Greyhound litters around at the moment? Looking to get a bitch pup out of good stuff. Thanks for any help in advance Dave

    A few months back was shown by the farmer a little spot I previously hadn't shot on his land which was riddled with rabbit, they would regular see 40 on a small field, I would go out and get a nice few a night. One night picked up one with Mixy, a few nights later another 2, within a week the whole place was wiped out. Sad

    Yes you'll find it hard getting a FAC for that, even if they gave you a 22 Rimmie I wouldn't want to shoot in those confines, ricochets can be nasty

    I've owned both a CZ Style and Ruger in 17 HMR, Nothing wrong with the CZ a cracking bit of kit that defo did the job, at the moment I'm shooting the Ruger and man what a lovely bit of kit. If you are on a budget go for the CZ AND Trigger kit you won't be dissapointed

    Found a lovely corner On one of my shoots a few months back holding a good bunch of bunnies, sometimes as many as 40 there at a time. Been away in America for 5 weeks so not been out, popped by last night and tonight absolutely nothing about, shot 4 two riddled with Mixy, GUTTED!
