  9. Was minus 10.5 when I took the car out the garage at 0430 this morning. Also was good to see Northumberland Council gritting the main roads.........(he says sarcastically!!) then only to find no snow from Darlington all the way down to Leicester. Let's hope the rest of the journey to Bury St Edmunds and Norwich are just as clear!! Darryl
  10. Agree with the rest, if you can shoot with a springer then PCP will be a "PCPiss".. Darryl
  11. dont fasten it to the barrel mate, it's a floating barrel! I had mine fastened to the bipod which was attached with a QD stud screwed into the woodwork, or you could get a "DrBob" which is a buddy bottle clamp But I'd advise against the barrel clamp Darryl
  12. Just put the car in the garage 15 mins ago and it was -6.5 here now.....gonna be slippy tomorrow then!! Darryl
  13. Give A & M Custom Gunsmiths a ring..... ANYTHING is possible with him  Darryl
  14. It will be fine for rabbits mate, but to be honest I think you're being a bit ambitious trying to get withing 15-20yds of them unless you're well concealed static hunting over a warren! Darryl
  15. Only just seen this! The S10 is an amazing rifle! Even though I've had mine customised by A & M you could still shoot drawing pins at 40M. Have you chronoed it yet to see what power it is putting out?? Mine was only 10.6ftlbs, hence why I sent it off to let Adi do his magic on it Try doing a search for a topic titled "The legacy of my BSA S10" and see what I started with and what I have now. I'm pretty sure you wont be disappointed with your purchase. One thing I will say to watch for are the magazines not indexing or skipping pellets. I found that by lubing it with a bit 3in1 oil
  16. we ended up with about 8-9" altogether, sky clear now though 20 mile up the road wor kid has had nowt! Darryl

  20. Yep, at least we got out! The young kestrel was an awesome sight Darryl
  21. Hi mate i completely understand where you are coming from. I have been shooting at my permission for a couple of months now and can consistently hit 1" targets at multiple ranges. I mentioned earlier that when we waited fot the rabbits we did not shoot as i wasnt 100% about the kill zone and distance But today we have been out and measured the distance of there normal spots. I have humanely shot squirrels, crows etc. As i knew a head shot would take them down in one, but rabbits have a larger head so i wanted to know where the brain was. Thanks for looking out though
  22. hi rob good job we didnt wear these then to the wedding!! regards davy Would have paid to see it though..... Darryl
