  1. How far was it out and on which way?? I don't know what shooting experience you have but it could be the way you are holding/shooting the rifle. A springer needs to be allowed to recoil. Most Lightnings I have heard or had experience of have a pretty harsh recoil straight out the box. As extreme as it seems a strip down, clean and relube could be worth a try. Check the stock screws arent loose & make sure the barrel/silencer is tight, also try swapping the front/rear mounts round and see if it improves. You might need to pack the mounts to get it on the button. But without any
  2. Smaller spring doesn't necessarily mean less power, it's how it's wound that produces the power Darryl
  3. I think you're giving in too easy Si! Isn't the idea of a prototype to find the flaws and put them right? Obviously there are going to be skeptics/haters or whatever you want to call them.... That's the nature of all things manufactured, the reason you're getting so much flak is because you believe in the product. All it is going to take is to wait till the product is on the market and in people's hands then experience & word of mouth will speak for itself. Stick to your guns mate!! ( pardon the pun!!) Darryl
  4. Wanna buy a lightweight cylinder??? ;) Darryl
  5. At what range ??? 20 to 25 yards !!! hi buddy I would try a less windy day or a pellet change 2inch group at that yards is pretty much not good, even for a novice! sorry if you dont agree? but just telling you my honest opinion what pellets was you using? hollow points? regards Davy Sorry mate only had a quick go yesterday ! But if it makes you feel better just put 28 pellets in to a target about a 50 p radius at 35 yards !!! you should be able to put 28 pellets inside a penny at that range with that rifle mate, practice makes you better Da
  6. the insert on the barrel for the silencer moves if knocked mate, causing pellet scattering. I had one for a few days and took it back to the shop a number of times and eventually I swapped it for my old S10...... some rifles suit some people but I just couldnt get away with it Darryl
  7. nowt wrong with the HW100's I have 2 of them and the only problems Ive had with mine are the barrel came loose (now sorted with extra securing screw) and a seal got mine for £350 each too Darryl
  8. Nothing wrong with your HW100 Darryl especially that .22 i shot the other day anyway. With 14 shots of .22 H and N Fields at 27 yards i got a group smaller than a 5p when we measured it, and it was witnessed by 2 others on here too. Blazing accuracy and more than you could ever ask of a sub 12. Si. So very true mate!! Darryl
  9. My old vmached 97k used to love Defiants and Accupels mate.... Worth a try!! Darryl
  10. I know mate....was pulling your dinger Not had much to do with them tbh mate.... both mine seems good enough as they are with consistency Darryl
  11. HW100's are already regged what i ment is does he fit a tench reg and tweak it to be any better on shot count and more consistent? some guys have sent him their already regged R10s? does he fit his own special reg to these to give a better them? or does he just tune them? chris if you want a bigger shot count & a lighter rifle just fit one of A & M's cylinders..... let me know if you want one!
  12. tried the rangemasters, had to feed them into the mag with a pencil (tight around the skirts) and could only get 2p groups at 30yds with the 410, what you shooting them through dar? I will bring them up with me and you can have them :thumbs : pushing them thru both the HW100's mate
  13. Twink or the new revised X3 for me..... Had them on all my rifles and wouldnt use anything else now! At the end of the day it's down to personal preference, each person will have their own favourite! Darryl
  14. dont use them...the skirts are waaaaay too soft, damage too easy and tend to throw more away than I used...... Use H&N FTT or Daystate Rangemaster Li now Darryl
  15. Full spec etc here mate... http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/239473-the-proto-type-of-the-new-nite-hunter-digi-add-on/ Darryl
  16. I done a small review here http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/240212-nite-hunter-digi-addon/ Darryl
  17. Hi folks.... It's seems it's been an age since I last posted something on here and am pleased to be back. Anyway, me m wor kid got an invitation off Si & Laura to go down have a look at the grounds & layout for the upcoming meet and a bit of shooting in Si's indoor range & tried the matchstick challenge.... Which is a LOT harder than it seems!! Whilst we were there Si showed us a new prototype of an Digi NV scope add on currently in development by nite-hunter.com. The design itself is based on and fits like a normal NV add on but thats where the similarities end. T
  18. Great addition for people Davy, good effort mate! Darryl
  19. Nice one.. Hope you're happy with it mate. Btw. With it being digital you can also use it for daytime Darryl
  20. PayPal as a gift please Bill I'll pm you the address if you don't have it from last time. Bought it due to wor kid having one for spotting as he said it was easier than lifting the rifle with the NV on. Took it out a few times but still found myself using the rifle instead of the mono. It's a grand bit of kit though Eye detection with the on board IR is an estimated 100+yds conditions depending, with full recognition at est 50yds Darryl
  21. Thought I'd give you lads first dibs before I advertise it elsewhere.... 5x50 Digital NV used couple of times in the box with instructions £65 inc RMSD postage Darryl
