  1. no mate its just a bog standar bipod, but the same ones have done me for years Darryl
  2. cant be bad mate if youve bought 3, just ordered one thanks. could you tell me what stud i would need on the HW100 kt. Depends how old your HW is mate. If its a newer one then get the one that replaces the forend stock screw Darryl
  3. cheers Tony, I'm humbled mate.... I did feel in my mind when I posted yesterdays target that there were some who might not believe it hence why I decided to make the video today On another note, it did take me 2 shots to hit the egg though Darryl
  4. That all depends on the shooter behind it mate.... cheers mate, appreciate your comment yes mate, Daystate Rangemaster Li 14.3gn Darryl
  5. Snook out with the TX200 again after work and done a short video on my iphone of another 5 shot group, I probably could have shot a lot more but the video would be just tedious. I honestly cant believe how consistent and accurate this rifle is.... I'll let the video speak for itself... cheers as always for watching Darryl
  6. Cheers Bill.... Aye, will give it time to settle and chrono it again and see what we're getting Darryl
  7. How do you find it when shooting 30+ yards mate? As in the above post mate, the firing cylce is so smooth providing I do my part I've every confidence in taking long range shots. So much so I'm thinking of using it for the THL meet HFT Darryl
  8. I think that is my limit when it comes to groupings. I've been at the range for a few hours every Sunday for the past few weeks, last week I got carried away and never left till 16:00hrs Practice doesn't make you perfect, just better!.... I cant believe how smooth it shoots for a springer. I can place a pellet on the top scope cap, fire the rifle and it moves a mere millimetre,,, Darryl
  9. anyone got a vasectomised hob(ferret) in Newcastle Upon Tyne area to service my jills?? cheers Darryl
  10. I reckon this is prob the easiest way and also saves space on the forum with uploading pics as well Resizing Large Pics If you have massively sized pics from your digital camera you'll need to resize them. You can do this with Paint but the results don't always looks too good so try PIXresizer from http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm - it's really easy to use and free as well. Choose a pic size around 800x600, which shows up well on the forum without people needing to scroll across too much - click load in the PIXResizer window and browse to where you've stored your image - ty
  11. I would exhaust everything possible before sending the gun away mate if Im honest. Each air rifle will react differently to different pellets....start off with the usual types, AA Field, JSB Exact, RWS Superfield, Daystate Li, H&NFTT and see how you get on Darryl
  12. you clean the barrel so every new "type" of pellet creates its own "trail" Each and every pellet has a different hardness and some will leave debris in the barrel, using different types/makes of pellet will from time to time "grab that debris from the previous "type" and cause an untold number of trajectory errors. Hence cleaning the barrel to remove the debris and then "leading" it up with the same type you are going to use. Your 308 will be suffering the same thing until the barrel is re-suited to the round you are using it will act unfamiliar Darryl
  13. Been to Steve Smiths shooting ground this morning, its the most local range to me and decided to put the TX through the mill I started to feed it AA Field but as with the same story the skirts were all over the place causing flyers, then tried H&N FTT but found them quite tight to push into the barrel but the groupings were closing up. My final choice were Daystate Rangemaster Li at 14.3gn which it decided it loved, so after cleaning & putting a hundred or so through in quick succession to lead the barrel I settle down to do a few groups to see if I could get back into shooting a

  20. sounds like you have a leak from the main valve to transfer port
  21. The BSA was far too gone to be taken back to the bare metal mate, was quite heavily pitted but on a decent rifle I dare say it could be possible, but a hell of a big job Darryl
