  13. strange that...how Uttings do them but Hawke dont..... :hmm:
  14. standard mildot mate, which according to Hawke it shouldnt have.....
  15. Its not the Tactical as according to Hawke they only come in a 42mm obj lens Thats the same info I found mate, thats what got me thinking..... The one I have here is the HK4006 4-16x50 which should by rights be a x10 1/2mildot but isnt..... Darryl
  16. Howdy folks quick question.... Does anyone know if Hawke done a Sidewinder 30 4-12x50 with just a Mildot reticle?? The code number is HK4006. Ive been on the Hawke website and going off that number it is supposed to have the x10 1/2 mildot reticle. The reason Im asking is I've recently bought one as new in the box with instructions etc expecting it to have the X10 1/2 mildot reticle and when it arrived it has a standard mildot. So..... Before I start kicking off with the kid for false advertising as all the information he supplied pointed to the x10 1/2mildot as does the Hawke websi

  21. depends what you mean by pitting mate, if it's just surface rust then fine wire wool or scrunched up aluminium foil & gun oil If its eaten right into the metal then you'll need to either kurust it & fill it or take it back to bare metal and polish it out Darryl
  22. A well tuned & lubed spring rifle is more than quiet enough for hunting as you still get the same "crack" when the pellet strikes the target end and also a spring rifle will sound louder than it actually is with your head on the stock Darryl
