  4. Steve, Air rifles aren't rimfire mate. It's all well and good and works on the same principle but with a 40yd zero theres s lot more factors to be added into the equation, the weight of the pellets, the power and conditions all come into play, for me the closer you can get to the quarry the "better" chance of a clean kill and the fieldcraft for me all adds to the experience. If you enter the relevant information into ballistic software then it will give you "an idea" of the best ranges for rifle power & pellet weight also going off the mag of your scope Darryl

  7. spring, breech seal and piston seal could be the possible cause of power loss, the complete standard replacements can be had for a little over £30 and should bring your rifle back up to scratch Darryl

  16. Im not knocking your shooting ability mate but you need to make sure you can actually hit it and kill it with one shot. Practice at different ranges until you can get all your shots inside a 2p piece, which isnt too hard with an HW100 as long as you do your part Scout out the land and look for signs of feeding then set yourself a feeder up, that way they are feeding on your terms and will normally make a static target once youre set up within your target range Happy shooting!!
