Sorry if this offends, but you either need to read your manual or sell the SLR and buy a compact camera! I tend to use Aperture Priority, Continuous focus, around f8 (makes focussing easier but will decrease shutter speeds), aim for a shutter speed of 1/100s or less for nice sharp images... hi were do i sort this out were on camera thansk. how do i aim for shutter speed thanks

The sports mode on the 350d and almost all canons sets the shutter speed slower than you actually need to capture running dogs in focus. I always shoot in manual. Obviously if you don't understand the camera and the settings fully it can be quite daunting to say the least. What i would advice is the following settings and try them mate. Set the camera to TV mode and set the shutter speed at around 800. if it's quite a bright day alter the iso to around 200 if it's a dull day set it at around 1000. Set the focus to centre spot and AI focus. You can alter the iso settings according to how b

hi thanks iv took some in day time as well around midday and light was ok but shots were same iv got the chance ov a 75-300 canon and a sigma 18-200 not suer what the exact details are of them continuous focus were do i find that thanks.

RSPCA a few years ago was searchn a farm and found 2 lynx in a stable [bANNED TEXT] wire door aparrentley they would be relised on a estate and hunted and shot for big money so if that was true then imagin the 1ns that dont get shot ??????// also donald mcantire who does the undercover stuff he bought a lion or tiger cant remember witch one he bought it of a closed animal park thing no papers and he met the guy in some services animal was druged in back of transit van so it is possiable who knows

when i lived on my uncles farm my uncle got sick ov dogs chasn sheep on them worring them police told us that if a dog not on leader that he had a right to shoot it dont know if that was right as the dog is not under controll as it could take of when it wanted but that farmer didnt know if you dog was a chaser just cos you say it not he probs had other numb do gudders dogs chasing them beast and beast dont stop for anything when they are threatend iv seen it happen and when dogs get excited they dont stop either so he probs been bitten once then twice shy as they say it the do gudd

if iam right not suer witch 1 cos there is 2 lakes there forgot what other 1 called but if derwent water is the 1 with the caravan site at the top end of it then you can buy ticket from there as well and were the river comes in to the lake say if you walk down from the pull in at side road near caravan site when you get to peddle part look over say to you left were river widens out there is a clump of reeds about 20yrds out in water thats the area iv caught from over near boat area on same side were water is near road av had nowt from there but other people have if water up then floo
