  6. Who has a Hancock dog that goes out regular throughout the winter running lots of game week in week out without any issues of picking there runs because like I said I only live 15 miles away from him which I could easily buy one but every one I've seen run when put under pressure have eased up ,but that's running lots of game not half dozen rabbit and think you've got a champion but that's just me.
  7. Yes he tried to sell me a dog which he said was a first cross but it wasn't ,I gave him a good name and I respected him for the dog i had which I know I'll never have another like him At that time which was 1999 I was catching lots of game with that dog throughout the country 3-4 nights through autumn and winter.I only live 15 mile from hancocks and I never contemplated getting one off him ,but I think if you lucky with the pup you pick and get it off to a good start and put the time into the dog you will have chance of a descent dog.I know lads who would ruin any dog no matter how well bred t
  8. I had 1xcollie greyhound off typ ratcher ,the best dog I've had brilliant rabbit dog but could do other stuff as well ,but typ ratcher started churning litter after litter for pure financial gain which for me ruined is name.Ive seen a couple of dogs off hancocks which weren't bad but also I've seen some ones as well which I suppose the amount he breeds you will.At least he sells genuine bred dogs not like typ ratcher who was selling so called first crosses but they wasn't , he was just breeding any thing put together but making out he was a genuine bloke just for pound notes

  16. Trouble is some idiot can by a good dog and ruin it because they have not a clue about dogs ,yet agood dog man can make a average dog look good by running ,feeding , and keeping it fit,and mostof all getting abond with a dog rather like alot of lads swap and change dogs every week.
  17. I had a first cross wheaton xgreyhound which was racy in build and was one hell of a catch dog ,which could deal with fox no problem single handed.THE dog was very laid back sensible and bidable, but could do the buisness on the feild as good as any cross could.
  18. Had more good dogs and bitches but i had one particular bitch which was probaly the hardest and bravest dog i have had doing single handed on fox.

  22. DOSNT WORK LIKE THAT MATE ,I WISH IT DID BUT IN MY EXPERIENCE THE MORE HOUND IN THEM THE LESS STANIMA ,AND POOR FEET THEY HAVE.Breed good collie lurcher to collie lurcher to produce chance of best of both worlds.COLLIE JOHN HAD A REVERSE 3/4 BRED WICH COULD KILL HARES ,SO REALLY ITS NOT LIKE MIXING PAINT,END OF THE DAY WHEN YOU BREED OFF WORKER TO WORKER ITS STILL ONLY A CHANCE OF GETTING A GOOD DOG.Alot of people think collie crosses ara to clever at times ,some can be but you can get alot of other crosses can be the same,it all down to how you bring them on from a early age not giving them
