    Family feud, but why wait till one of the biggest horse fairs is on to do this, its beggars believe. They have achived nothing, but the loss of the fair, from what I am hearing on the news over here the fair is gone for good.

    Lads many thanks for the previous advice regarding the pup, her training is coming along fine and am looking forward to bringing her onto the next step when the time is right. I have a question that you may be able to help me with? Water: She would never go near it, she would always run around it rather that get her feet wet. But… in the past two weeks she has taken to going in knee deep, should I allow her to proceed at her own pace???? This is all new to me regarding having a springer, so would like to get it right first time round.

    Am more than pleased with her training at the moment, taking it easy and letting her enjoy the ourdoors, how on gods earth have I gone so long in my life without a springer, thay are a joy to have around. This is her waiting to be told to fetch the dummy.

    Due to the nice weather that was expected for yesterday we decided to give the Pike a lash. The venue was a large lake that had produced some good pike for us in the past, so it was with great excitement that we approached the waters edge. I fished the swim to the far left when a wee river runs into the lake, always found this spot to be a real producer of good pike, but how wrong I was to be. Two deads went send sky-ward, left hand rod was a popped up herring and a tail section of mackerel was the second bait. For nine solid hours we flogged this water with every known bait and lure,
