While we had a good win today in Dublin, it could have been a different story had the Scots taken their chances in the early part of the first half. A brillent start by the Scots, but they fell away under Irish presure, all credit to the Scots for a very enjoyable game

Get used to it, its parts of the British culture, and for our own Irish culture. I drive my Taxi for a living around Dublin and he makes me sick to think how our visitors must perceive us. Every weekend in Dublin you have gangs of drunken kids been sick and causing nothing but trouble. The cops do what they can, but we have a more serious problem in Ireland at the moment with gun culture and drugs, two drugs related deaths in past two weeks, the cops have enough on their plate without crap from drunken kids. This is a little b*****d of a killing machine. For the past month we have tried to nail this fella, talk about out smarting us. At one stage we had pre baited an area to lure this fella in and help build up his confidence in feeding from our chosen area. Not a hope in hell. We took three other Charlie’s from our baited area, but not this lad, stayed well clear. It was by chance that we came across him one late evening on the outskirts of the village, while making our way to the farm one of the other lads has copped a fox hitting the ditch and of course we stopped to have a look. Near to where we live we have a huge expanse of water that feeds most of Dublin with its water demands. Within this water lies some large Pike, the reason the Pike are so large is down to the huge head of trout that shares it home with Mr. Pike.
