Anglers in my local club are mostly antis, I wasted time sitting bailiff course etc to help club out . The c***s contacted sspca cause I had mink cages running down river. One of other bailiffs a good friend of mine , was out checking traps with me one morning and we came across Charlie to ground , couldn't miss an opportunity so dug him . The amount of friends the other bailiff lost cause he was with me when we dug that fox was terrible, guys he had known for twenty plus years . A pulled all cages and fenns and don't bother with club at all now . A used to do all the strimming and everything

Yes I thought the remote handles looked the same aswell , iv got both tracer and lightforce lamps but prefer the lightforce lamps they got better beam adjustment. But the tracer remote handle is 40 quid cheaper so was hoping to go for the cheaper option lol

Had leather ones in the past but got the biothane type from bellman and flint and wouldn't go past them now -
Not totally different if he's had no experience of a gun dog whatsoever . A lab be fine as a beating dog. Plenty people I know say same about cockers.

The trouble with cockers is you don't get one day the same with them , could be spot on one day the next day they don't want to know the whistle. You sound like you don't have much experience if this is the case, get yourself a lab pup and learn the basics then take on a spaniel at later date
