  1. thanks . i am still having trubble getting a mount that fits the gun. been to my local gun shop and they said they will give me a call when they come up with somthing
  2. sand is a bit hard to clean out and mine have a sand box for playing in. but my jill seems to think its a litter try
  3. yes great to watch. i would love to have that many dogs but i dont think nextdoor would like it lol
  4. lol thats great. ok you win lol
  5. yes i have noticed dogs that are lower at the front. i havent had any so i dont know if it makes for a better hunting dog. i think good legs are a must and a long back. i have a breed that is short on back so i lose the speed ,but she has good legs so that helps
  6. your best bet would be not to breed from her but to get a pup from good working stock that has the colour you like. she is a lovely looking dog but as others have said not a reason to breed. if you think you mite not do much hunting you could go down the show road and get a nice pedigree whippet with the colour you like and take it to shows and hunt on the side. thats what i do. my dog is a show dog and hunting dog and is doing great at both.
  7. I will just add a bit to this as my dog is also a show dog. I used one for a bit when my dog was on heat . And she started to move in a strange way, sort of kicking one leg out to much. So I stop using it. This may have gone unnoticed if she was not a show dog, but as we pay a lot of attention to how our dogs move, it was quickly spotted. So there is a chance that using a mill could effect the way your dog moves and this in turn could effect his hunting.
  8. thats a cute looking pup
  9. i have a LED lenser p7 and i love it to bits lol but what can i use to attach it to my gun? i was lookig at the EASY FIT SHOCK ABSORBING TORCH GUN MOUNT would this do the job ?
  10. nice long back and good legs
  11. mine took to them quite quickly. but, they dont always use them. they will also play in them and put the kitty litter everywhere. i use wood shavings in mine. i would say 70% of the time they use them. and some are better than others like my hob who hardly ever gos anywhere els, but my jill gos any where she wants. i have a big try as i found they dident like the corner ones.
  12. i saw this , very sad to see so many dogs put to sleep
  13. thanks. i was watching a vid on cleaning it and the guy put oil on the brush to clean the barrel so i thought i need to get some , i also read somwere that oiling the spring can give it back its power if it loses it a bit? but i am not guna oil it at all if it dont need it so thanks
  14. What oil do i use for my hw45 on the spring and barrel.?

  18. I could not get my other half to sit on the sofa with his arm around me as he said i stank of ferret. and i had only been holding my hob for a short time. i cant smell them at all now an less they let of a poof ( what i call the skunk like smell they do if fighting ) and that stinks the house out good and proper. lol
  19. I had my kit in the house for the first few weeks , i dident notice the smell but my other half who i only see weekends said the house stank. thats why he now lives with the jill in the court. but he comes in 3 times a day to play . my ferrets are fast little buggers, and the only time i let my hob lose in the garden he went throw the headge to next door. but i have a mate with a much bigger hob then mine that walks like a snail so he lets it in the garden every day
  20. my hob sneezes a lot, but only in the house . so i think alergy
  21. I used to wonder this before I got mine. If you have one, (witch is not a good idea as they love company) , and keep it in the house and let it run free indoors then they can be like having a little dog that follows you about lol. But they do smell and soon the house will stink of ferret, also they are very high energy and never really chill out on your lap like a cat. They also poo were-ever they like even litter trained ones will poo in the corner of the living room. I have three ferrets that live in a ferret court. One is a kit and comes in to the house a lot. He's very friendly. And loves
