  10. a fella by me had a lab greyhound years back and it was lethal on foxes.have you seen the heads on some of them labs. plenty strong enough for foxes if it wanted to do them.(pre ban of course) if you get a goodin it should be right for what you want it for.
  11. well to be honest mate if you were having a big night of running the dog it wouldnt hurt to have a ten minute break have a pot off tea enjoy the night, and both have a break .rather than letting a dog get that worn out in the first place. i run my dog year round, and not once has he been under that much stress, he has needed any pick me ups, to get him right nothing a break and a slurp off water or tea and a little sit down dosnt sort we did have a break.the dog was fit as it could be , a slurp of water and a little sit down wouldnt of sorted this dog mate.it was coming to the en
  12. wouldnt bother with lucozade tablets , keep them for yourself and get the dogs some electrolytes. talking of lucozade , we had a dog fit in the back of the car on the way home after a hard night lamping.not having anything to give to the dog we stopped at the nearest garage , bought some lucozade and give the dog half a bottle. brought him round fast!
  13. Are you sure about that? are we talking about the same scarisbrick? , the one on the banks of the leeds - liverpool canal? its been boarded up for months.
  14. the scarisbrick has now closed down , probabley due to the waterloo cup being banned.i bet it made at least 4 months profit over the 3 days the cup was on.i wonder how many small buisnesses have gone under due to the hunting ban
  15. the coursing lads a probabley better suited to answer this topic
  16. never bothered with ointments or anything like that unless there needed. check for injurys , treat any wounds , give them some good grub and a warm bed.
  17. thats nonsense talk.you cant predict nothing when it comes to dogs thats why people only breed of tested and proven stuff. i have owned dogs that have started in a blaze of glory and jibbed by the age of 4. if world hunters wants to line is dog than thats up to him but most dog lads with some sense about the game wouldnt dream of it.
  18. you will have a better chance than what your planning.
  19. why dont you go and buy another pup of the peddler you bought storm off.am sure he has done a repeat mating or two since you got storm .this way your getting the same way bred as you have got and it saves you the messing of breeding the litter
