  1. your opinion or not , it's still a load of bollocks you nob its breeding off stuff that hasnt been tested properley thats ruining the bullx not what type of pure bred bull is used. there is still proper staffys out there as game as anything.they might not have the fighting abilities as a pitbull but they are still game enough to work all british quarry. if you had staffy xs that were 100% on all quarry would you rate them any less because there staffy xs ,i think not
  2. stop talking bollocks , whatever type of bull x it is it should be judged out in the field , i have seen proper bull xs as you call them not worthy of the name , DOGS SHOULD BE JUDGED ON WORKING ABILITY NOT ON WHAT CROSS THEY ARE
  3. just an updated picture , now 4 months old
  4. How is the pup 3/4 cocker cross 1/4 springer. How do you work out those figures you have posted. Just interested to know, as I would have thought that a cros would be 1/2 and 1/2. the dam of this pup is a springer x cocker which is whats know as a sprocker and the sire is a pure cocker which makes the pup 3/4 cocker 1/4 springer. 1/2 and 1/2 would be a cocker x springer
  5. i would rather have a well bred 3/4 greyhound 1/4 bull as an allrounder than a 3/4grey 1/4 collie any day. but thats just my opinion the end of the day if the type of lurcher you own is doing the job you want it to then you have the right cross p.s i dont own a pair of trackys and dont go hunting in trainers lol
  6. £200 , sounds a bargain , put me down for 3 lol
  7. 3/4 grey 1/4 bull(staffy) , 25 inch bitch
  8. Id love to see photos of the mastiff cross. will you put some up. Why do you want the strong head on your bull cross??? a staffy cross would be lucky to reach 20 inch. you should get a good head alright though if thats what you want. countrboyo i know of genuine 1st cross staffys that are 25 - 26 inch so stop talking shite.
  9. what % of bull are we talking about 1/2 , 3/8 5/8 ,1/4 i have seen rubbish in all crosses (collie x etc) but i wouldnt start generelising a breed because of a few bad ones i have seen. good luck whatever x you have
  10. nice one , whippet looks a little cracker , good luck with her
  11. graham nicholson thats the biggest load of rubbish i have ever read on here and thats saying something
  12. lol , even harder with me big chunky ss collar on lol
  13. aswell as tapeing , put a bit of ptfe (plummers tape) on the thread before you put the cap on , helps to keep it nice and water tight
  14. you should be used to it being a bitter blue lol good luck scouser
  15. or all the competitors could meet at a pub somewhere and do the draw for all the heats
  16. alls am saying is that its grief that could of been easily avoided
  17. hats of to everyone who organised and took part in the comp but deciding the heats this way was always going to cause speculation and accusations. jmho
  18. It'll be sorted amongst the people in it mate!! If it goes down the card, i'll be accused of fixing it, in fact whatever way its matched, i'll be accused of fixing it, so the people who are in it, will make a group decision of how its done!!! you should of went down the card from day 1 and you you wouldnt have had this problem
  19. the trophy might go down south if mark wins it but it will still be a northener winning it
  20. she could of broke a bone in its toe and you have'nt noticed it because of the injury to the nail. get a decent greyhound bone man to have a look or get it xrayed. good luck
  21. I've only seen and held one of these, not lamped with one, but it's definitely on my Christmas list! They're very light weight. http://www.northeastfieldsports.co.uk/lamp...y-pack-151.html Out of stock on NEF site though bit pricey that for a battery ss , you must have more money than soft joe to pay that for a battery lol. dont buy a battery pack from a fieldsports shop you will pay way over the odds for it. the best lamp imo is the striker variable power , the blitz is just a bit big for my likings.
  22. imo with an half x i think the longer in the leg the better ,some of these little half xs lack the extra gear which i think they would have if they had a bit more leg. give that dog another 6 months and it will look a different dog. i had one that looked like a lab until it was about 9 months old then it got a running dog shape and ended up being a fast bitch. good luck
