    Jade Goody

I have sympathy for anybody who is robbed of life through that nasty disease, ive lost a few who i held dear to me over the years.....but i have no more or less sympathy for Jade Goody than the normal person on the street who is struck down with cancer,i just dont get the media circus that went along with her and then during her illness,as lets be honest...she was a bit of a muppet !!! so i agree with what others have said to a certain extent with all the exposure she got aswell as the £££'s. I do genuinley feel for her young kids all the same.

Scotland was as poor yesterday as ive seen them for many a year...i fear the worse for them this year but hats off to Wales as they looked right handy again this year with a bit more in the tank to come from them yet.......I fancy them strongly to piss all over England in their next game....but i supose im gonna say that

Sorry for yer loss Meerihunter as i know from reading your posts how much you put into they dogs of yours,as been already said its the shitty end of the stick with dogs that are out regular such as your own mate but the good times justify the chance of these tragic injuries happening. Always let them run i say

  10. to be fair at 60 pounds a pup your not doing it for the money. the fact is the old boy has got a couple of cracking lurchers and thought hed breed from them. ive bought one myself and this time next year i know i'll have a pot filler more suited to my needs. the trouble we got down here is we are far away thats why theyre low priced .im sure if he wanted to make money hed write a book Touche' i said it with a bit of tounge and cheek , as i have bought one of the books which i did enjoy . think im owed an apology being hailed as a puppy pedler though . not everyone on here is

  12. True Romance is a mob film i rate with a good cast...well worth seeing Some fine acting from a scene from the film from two fine actors Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=fdRn0HYcIUc&...feature=related#
  13. VERY TRUE, a 1x or a 3/8 collie 5/8 grey, will take any thing, a top dog Ah! but i do a bit with a fella who keeps a nice 3/8 collie bitch he bred himself bred from good stock...she's handy on rabbits, knocks over a few hares and has put plenty a venison in his freezer but wont even look at charlie never mind have a go at them but to back up my theory of its more about the induvdual dog ive seen a 3/4 collie do alright on everything aswell as fly into its fox aswell Im sure theres some 3/8 out there that will do the lot but thats more down to the induvidual dog than its collie b
  14. Its not so much the breeding (collie x,deerhound x ect)of the dog,id say its more what the induvidual dog has in the tank with right minerals, brain, feet, strike, weight behind them ect ect to take a rabbit off the fence, kill a good hare, make short work of its fox and follow a roe over a hedge to pull it before it hits cover that would justify it being called allrounder. The said dog would need to have a fair few strings to its bow,so i would say it would be more down to the induvidual dog whether it be bull bred, deerhound bred, suluki bred or even a bitsa with several crosses in it make-up fo

    plummer

His books were ok for what they were and back when i was a young enthusastic teen trying to get my mitts on anything written on working dogs and the like,Plummer gave you a insight...maybe not all gospel but at a time when there wasnt a lot of pen to paper on such things a few entertaining lighthearted reads on the subject never the less. I met the man only once and found him a decent sort of guy (i take folk as i find them)...and believe me when i say this ive met far worse so called dog men, although its been well documented he enjoyed winding a few folk up i cant recall him doing many fo
  16. Some dogs esp taking into account how their bred run better and longer a wee bit overweight and some underweight but i will stress again just a wee bit !! If their running fine for you...carry on what your doing with them
  17. Good to see the auld fella still doing a bit blue-boy,kinda regret not taking a pup from your litter now mate as the bitch you kept looks spot on If only you had bred them this coming spring/summer Anyway all the best with your young bitch....hope she fills her sire's shoes ok for ye mate
  18. Well done lads, this is what i stay on these forums for....you take a old hand at the game who has many years at the rabbits and one of the young bucks who is not long in the game but both have a passion for what they do who are never on here putting others down or bigging themselves up....one by all accounts still walks out carrying a injury when he should be back at home resting up but refuses to let the lad down and one runs if you were to listen to some gubs a second rate cur bred from non-workers,but they still hunt together shoulder to shoulder having a few good nights out and competing i
  19. Unlucky taffies,a good first half but they kiwi's are no to bad at the game
  20. Any lurcher irrelevant of its breeding or dog for that matter can be a pain in the arse to train if its in the wrong hands or maybe the novice...the more you put in,the more you get out of em,with a fair dose of patience along the way
  21. All the best tae you and the better half mate on the new born .........some good solid breeding there in the wee man
  22. And a nice deepfried mars bar for pudding to finish it off Kay.....all washed down with a nice bottle of buckfast But seriously as been said get yourself a good haggis from the butchers......mmmmmmm
  23. When i say Roy Jones Junior would have wiped the floor with Joe back when they should have fought i didnt mean any disrespect to Joe C...as Roy Jones Junior would have and did wipe the floor with many fighters in the calibre of Joe C back then when he was as slicker a fighter that has ever graced the ring and Joe not being the fighter he went on to grow into as imo he grew into a better fighter in his later fights.....but as gnasher said its only about opinions and this is mine. I ask you to cast your mind back to Hatton v's Floyd Mayweather not long ago there,a lot of folk thought Hatton
  24. Joe deserves all the riches and plaudits that being a world class fighter brings, his record speaks for itself.....but the only niggling doubt i will always have with him is why did he wait until Hopkins and Roy Jones Junior were well past their best,he deserved his win tonight but why wait until these guys are past it. IMO Roy Jones would have wiped the floor with Joe back when these two should have fought,so for me that is always going to be the only niggling doubt i will have with Joe being one of the all-time greats, but hats off to him all the same for a cracking career in the game
