    just for info, cass flew at just under 2lb last year, baccus at dead on 1lb (flying weight not hunting). the spar i am told (i only bought her a few weeks ago) was hunting at 280g (mainly magpie) the wee jills are not to be used in deep warrens as they are fooking deadly!! :diablo: ( and have accounted for as many rabbits as the young hawks thei year ( together with "the spade of hubert" which will be framed :laugh: :laugh: ) lets have some pics up

    quite right mate, thats why i always think a moment before eating re constituted meat ( sausage,pork pie etc etc). the machine that does it just rubs the "meat" off bones ( including ANYTHING the butcher has left on it.................cysts...........abcesses..................growths..... :bad: )

    i have been making a couple of knives,restoring an old bsa lightening,a few ferret nets made and shooting a catapult which i have bought from a member on here doing some overtime so i can afford not to when the birds are going again. i think i might add a few pics to this thread later on ( of the birds) feel free to do the same fellas, lets see the "moulters"

    paul i have a fair few here now too lol five here and two on the way, a falconry set and an axe/hatchet in the pipeline. i have knocked up a couple of blades today for carving (old saw blades from work ground down and handles epoxied on to be sorted out when i have a bit of enthusiasm to spare lol) i will get a pic up if they turn out ok. rob thats a nice looking knife bud

    is the blade made from a saw blade? ( circular saw, looks like the hole in the middle at the rear of the cutting edge?) i like the handle with the mosaic pins and the patina on the blade!!! ( or is it damascus?) and the filing on the spine too ( could you take a pic from the top to show it off a bit more please) looks a very nice knife indeed, your mate is a talented chap ( if he has any more work for us to see i would be glad to TRY and pinch some ideas ) good to see the section here is producing some excellant threads of late! waidmannsheil!!
