  6. nice going mark safest way to bring pups on esp to help them to strike and pick up. its easy to critisise by not putting the reason why you think its wrong and a better and safer method to use instead of dropping a few rabbits marko my old bitch died the other day [19yrs old ]
  7. the best coursing dog ive seen was 5/8 saluki 2/8 saluki 1/8 deerhound [sniper forley cup winner] deerhound faster than a saluki, one crazy world we live in . im glad ive had a drink reading that
  8. like i said they wouldnt turn a hare or they would be used, you bring one out that will change my mind and the others who go coursing you would be a rich man
  9. is it kenneled, ive seen dogs thats been stood in urine or dogs that piss on there front legs get sore through it[ im not saying yours is], bath them in salt water or bath them in the sea
  10. You must have seen a fat or out of condition ones then Shaun. A couple of years back a woman stayed in the village with a borzoi bitch and it wasnt much slower than the ex-track bitch I had at the time, I was really suprised by just how fast it could go and it seemed to have terrific stamina dont you think me and others who mostly run hares and other stuff for the past 20yrs, would use the borzoi breed instead of the saluki, there isnt any decent stuff in this country if there was and they were better than the saluki they would have been used by now, the ones ive seen run, ran like a pure
  11. get some for me aswell
  12. try over south cave mate, decent land there if you know where to look  wat part eng is gool and south cave. just under the humberbridge mate, the last time i was there we got rammed :realmad: by a crazy old farmer, i wasnt bothered it wasnt my moter

  16. i havent seen the dog run myself, all i know is that its to slow for him around here, he dosent run on the fens. me and joe were down today my red n white got 2/3 he lost his first in a pipe, but on his 3rd run after a good 5minutes he was stood with the hare i got within 5yrds of him , he spotted joes black n white bitch and joined in with her for a good 3mins, he was out on his feet after that, i had to put him in a dyke to cool him down with the farmer just yards away.he will be ok for monday if the grounds ok a few lads have been getting lifted down there this last couple of weeks, a lad

  19. you wont go wrong with cider vinegar
  20. it all depends if he is mentally and physically strong some one said bitches show earlier, without seeing the dog no one can say, that job is upto you , gl with him
  21. lol it is true, the coppers got the dogs out to find them, they were loked up over night
  22. ive heard of these brilliant dogs over this last 3yrs baz when the ground has been firm and then you got one day of heavy ground in 2 months , but this year when its heavy you dont here from them esp when its heavy over a month or so . they have had it good these so called :super dogs: over the last 2 seasons running soft hares, i can take these dogs out tommorrow around a few places and they would struggle to get anything, this time of year on this ground. invitation to anyone who can prove differently to this
  23. the sea eagle is alot bigger than those wee boys and they are only on the west coast aswell
  24. as robbie says the dogs could have been waiting for softer ground, ive got a dog here would run better on bottemless ground, if any one follows horse racing will understand this , any dog with a round action will run better on soft to heavy ground compared to a fast action dog that will struggle on it ,
