Same mate, and I can add into the mix that I have utter contempt for most of my fellow people for keep voting for these c**ts.......it’s insanity ! They have just moved the whole country here to top tier restrictions for 6 weeks. Its the city’s that are rife but everyone is sharing the burden equally. Yes there have been a couple of grumbles but for small country towns like my local town the message is “let’s support each other, let’s all do our bit and support the local businesses and each other to help them survive” ........that’s attitude has been absolutely consistent and unwavering right the way through this thing. As I keep harping on about mate, what else do we expect. They have spent 50 plus years creating a country where you ain’t meant to feel any kinship to your own, having a sense of nation and identity is an outmoded and small minded concept, your flag means nothing, the soil beneath your feet means nothing, you church and that group means nothing......we are all individuals who should ignore every other individual and just do whatever we want to do, take the credit card and forget everything else ! I agree with that but don’t you think that it’s a sad reflection of where we are at as a “nation” (we ain’t !) that we are having to give hundreds of millions to councils to do what needs doing to protect the nation ? (obviously forgetting the argument of if we feel it needs protected or not) Can you imagine WW2: Churchill: “Excuse me Coventry, would you implement a black out please” Coventry: “only if you give us 100 million quid !” Churchill: “But other places are doing it” Coventry: “So f***ing what you Tory c**t !” lol

Question: Who here will consciously change they day to day behaviour when all this finally settles down ? Will you still want to live in high population areas ? Will you still want to take the trip abroad ? Will you still shop with hundreds of others in the supermarket ? Will you still take the visit to the retail park with thousands of others ? This type here, always for sale in Irish towns. Don’t worry about any rust, it cleans off and as soon as it’s back in use it seasons itself. You can cook long, low and slow too because they retain heat much better than almost anything else.

I happened on a film by accident the other night called “The Last Full Measure”, it was brilliant. Im not normally a fan of the American Vietnam themed films of blokes in turmoil and all that shite but this wasn’t that, a superbly acted and moving film. Its the story of a 30 year fight for the medal of honour for a para-rescue jumper who saved 60 infantry men in the middle of a savage ambush. Great cast, some big names delivering brilliant performances. Well worth a watch
