Dessie Mackins Dog Show and Raceday at Laurencetown, Saturday 25th April15 Laurencetown is famous for its green fields and ancient building, including Lawrencetown House, built before 1834 and features a walled garden and extensive lawns stretching to the River Bann. This Sunday the 26th of April 15 is the first Whippet show of the year for The Sporting Whippet Club of Northern Ireland at Dunsilly Kennels, Milltown Road, Dunsilly Co Antrim. BT41 2JJ Signing in for racing at 12 -12.30 sharp. I love this venue, one of the best Whippet venues in these isles. *** Please Note : This show is a qualifer for the 5 Nations Whippet Championship at Shanes Castle in June. BT63 6EG Simulated coursing will start at 11.00 sharp. Straight Racing entries will be taken from 11.00 am. Racing will commence at approximately 12.00 noon. The Combined Clubs Dog Show and Raceday at , Laurencetown, Banbridge, Sunday 12th April 2015. Woke up Sunday morning, looked out through the window and saw the rain pounding down against the pavement in the back garden. Alarm Bells started ringing in my ears immediately, and lead me to question, is this going to be the end of Dog Show day at Laurencetown, or is our luck going to change. But the Gods were well and truly looking after the good Canine folk North and South of the border, and by 12noon the sun burst open in abundance over the Co Down hills, and the rest is history. Dog

WHOOEE, WHOOEE --- APPLEBLOSSOM TIME AGAIN THIS SUNDAY 12th APRIL AT THE DOG SHOW RACE DAY EXTRAVAGANZA AT LAURENCETOWN ( BETWEEN GILFORD AND BANBRIDGE) It is with great regret that Drumbo Whippet Club have had to cancel their planned Race/Show Day on Sunday 12 April due to an issue with the venue. But do not fear The Combined Clubs are here. The Combined Clubs have agreed to host the event on Drumbo Whippet Clubs behalf at Holymount Road, Lawrencetown this Sunday 12 April 2015. Racing entries will be taken from 11.00 am. Racing will commence at 12 noon sharp!!

Braid Valley Lurchers FOR THE FIRST TIME - TOOME FAIR will be the venue for LURCHER, WHIPPET, TERRIER & FAMILY PET SHOW.. Taking place in the heart of Toome Village at the Chapel car park. Usual show classes for Lurchers, Whippets & Terrier. Qualifiers for The Great Game Fairs of Ireland. 32 Counties Champion of Champions Conwy Valley North Wales champion of champions including best entered Terrier.
