    DUNDALK & DOWDALLSHILL IRISH COURSING CLUB GREEN ROAD, DUNDALK, CO LOUTH Saturday 26th December 15, and Sunday 27th December 2015 ( Sunday Finals Day ) Start: 11.30am both days.     The Caim dog show is Matt Slevins dog show and it was on this year 1st Sunday in June, and I presume it will be the same in 2015. We went down to it this year, and it was really a top class show. A great day out for all the family.

    The Irish Lurcher, Terrier and Whippet Clubs Christmas Dog Show. A great day was had at the Irish Lurcher,Terrier, and Whippet Christmas dog Show , held at the Bannvale House Hotel Gilford, Banbridge, Co Down yesterday Saturday 20th December 14. Some sore heads and sore feet from dancing today, but great nights fun and frolics was had by all. The suffering to day was worth it all. Every bone in my body is sore. We eventually got home around 11.30pm, but I beleive some other partied on into the night.. A big congratulations to Nicky Robinson who won Overall and Best in show with her

    WOW CHRISTMAS IS ON ITS WAY, AND YES FOLKS OF THE CANINE COMMUNITY: The All Ireland Lurcher,Whippet and Terrier Club( Dessie Mackins Christmas Show) have asked me to let you know, they will be running this years Annual Christmas Dog Show of 2014 at The Banville House Hotel , on the Gilford Banbridge Road on Saturday 20th December 14. Come hail , rain or snow, the show will go on, and promises to be a great Christmas Dog show. There will also be a raffle, full of good prizes.     No Bigdogrunning, its just a Christmas dog show only, no racing, just a bit of festive fun and a few beverages afterwards. Its always a good wee show and an excuse for a p--- up. Its the week before Christmas. It has been known for bodies and dogs to be carried home afterwards.
