Very good result mate Can i ask a couple of questions.... what sort of cover was you flushing them from? And how did you flush them? did you send lads into the cover to beat it or use terriers? If it was terriers what terriers where used and how many? I would love a couple of days out like that All the best Witton

Thinking about moving there mate.....eventually Just depends on finding work....and somewhere to rent. Me and Arron have been talking about it for the past year...just renting somewhere....building kennels n that and basically splitting all bills rent ect... It seems like a good place to live if your into the dogs...plenty of game to put the dogs behind Lucky whats it like for deer? just interested in observing them.....wouldn't like to live to far from them....just something about watching them that floats my boat Witton

After its been plucked.....stick the tip of a knife in randomly over the bird then pour over boiling water before drying with a cloth pouring over abit of oil and putting in the oven......makes the skin very crispy. It was on a cooking program. Id sooner sit there for 4 hours to pluck it then to skin it.......duck with out the skin.....its a waste Witton

I know of a heavy 1/2 bull x that can catch rabbits and rats and pulls foxes. But thats not whats hes used for mainly put it on some golf corse bunnies see how it does then.... and while we are on the subject if a heavey 1/2 bull x is doing them think what a decent whippet / rabbiting dog could do and witton he dident say what he wanted it for... in my opinion having a half bull x for rabbiting sounds like a bad move to me I agree mate he should get a shite whippet grey like yours

Pointless ay whippet boy? im sure there are alot of people that could prove you wrong half crosses make great drawing dogs, and will catch there fair share on the lamp There a strong bideable dog and can be very handy tools. I do agree tho a 3/4 grey 1/4 bull or a 3/8 5/8 would be better if your purely running lamped fox, some people often forget how fast fox's can shift. But a decent half cross will still paste its fair share on the lamp Obviously some will throw more heavy to the bull side and some will be more racey, if you could fine a slightly racier half cross then it would be a ver

There really is some stupid c**ts about isn't there.....i mean come on.....stealing a lurcher as distinctive and recognizable as that and....why steal a lurcher that looks like its never done a days work.....just a pet? My dogs front end looks piss poor in that pic Never mind she is starting to do the business and is going to get it hard on this permission......another thing, i cant promise but there may be munty's on there......so the land owner is saying but its word of mouth..we will see when we walk the land. Yeah it was a laugh mate we got to meet a true poacher aswell we are going to have to pay him another visit And get his lad out with us Hows that ferret we picked up this morning after settling in?
