  5. i work on an indoor unit, a sow will average around 24 pigs per year, you wean at 25/28 days at around 7kg, they should get to around 30kg at 10wks old and 100kg with in 6mth, we kill out around 105kg so they should weigh around 83kg dead weight,(minus bone/guts), a sow eats around 1.25 tons per yr at a cost of £125/£160 a ton weaner feed at £250/£270 a ton and fat feed from £160/£190 a ton it will differ on breed of pig you'll keep and if you keep them outside, if you look through the farmers weekly, it tells you what price per kilo pork/bacon is making but changes each wk, atb i

  8. just abit of info if anyone can help, im not much into trapping but ive just borrowed a Larsen trap with a maggie call bird from a game farm i use to work on to get rid of afew round my garden as theyve hammered 2 blackies nest plus a collard dove and also afew sparrow nests , ive managed to trap 9 so far since last monday, but my two faced neighbor who has lived next to me for last 12yr has started to moan about me catching them and has said she been on phone to who ever and said its illegal to catch them in your back garden ? well this is all new to me, i wouldnt mind but the moaning fat f*

  17. hi mate, you say "some" were they all out of the same wier? Are you sure they werent repeats? yes pal out of the same weir and different weights as 2 were landed on the same day, its been acouple of year since i last fished there and i think ? one was early 20 and the other mid 20, all fish landed out of there were all very good doubles, i use to lend a boat of a kid who lived on a old barge to which i could get in some decent places under over hanging willows, i do know its changed abit there and the old derelict house in middle of weir has been done up so i dont know what its like there a
