    Top post that Bosun ..the above quote sums up the "majority" of the Minshaw bred dogs when it comes to that game imo? There will always be exceptions to the rule but for the amount of dogs that were/are on the ground of this type the good un's in the foxing game were few and far between imo?..my own old dogs could ALL be put into the same category as Bosun quoted above..yes they got em "in the end" but by feck it wasn't by the actions of a "proper" foxing machine ..they never really interested me to the point other quarry did so i wasn't overly fussed myself but the lads who wanted them spec

    Not yet anyways mate?..it's always a possibility but i'm in no rush to be thinking down them lines just yet? Both dogs are doing ok,both of them have their faults ..would breeding them together just give the pups both their bad points together or would it iron out the faults and make the pups better than both?..I'll sleep on it for a year or two ..ATB Andy.

    I'm not at home David at the minute so pics are restricted lol...just a word on Minshaw's dog Blue,well not the one almost everyone knows? He had a dog called Blue before him,it was a bigger heavier dog and was the litter brother to Nipper the sire of the dog most people associate with when it comes to MINSHAW bred dogs in "the Blue"..the 1st Blue jumped a fence and got a tear in it's testicle from which the dog got blood poisoning and eventually died!..the chap who had the dam of that dog called Hento and who actually owned Nipper at that time gave Vic the Nipper dog at 18 month old as a repl

    Lol..I know Paul Longman very well,take it from me the 1st MINSHAW dog he EVER had was a pup he got off me out of Bulpa x Jess back in the late ,s..he got a red and White dog off me and it never made adulthood ..he got into terrierwork after that..bred Blue haha..like Moscow said he must of done it when he was about 12 then? What a load of tosh!! Vic had the sire to Blue in Nipper and Rodney Jackson had the dam called Darkie,Rodney still as he did then lives in a village called Broughton Moor which is a 3 minute drive from where I live...and that tickled me about Roy Chubby Brown haha..ATB And

    Rambo only ever mated one bitch Baz called Suzie..it was a 3/4 Grey x 1/4 Collie..it was crap i went out with it a few times and it didn't have enough wind to blow a candle out,i ain't at home at the minute but i'll fire a pic up of it tomorrow when i'm home..it only had one pup and it was huge..the lad who owned the bitch went in the army and the dog never seen a rabbit ..what a fecking waste eh? Was the sire of the "coursing" dog out of Rambo's litter or Traveller's?...Nigger lined nothing when he was up here in West Cumbria Baz but i know he threw a real dog down in Lancs called Micky..it
