  1. Thanks mate,she is very much multi purpose,has all her bird duties,butshines as a stalking companion. Think the HPR's are more specialists,whirehairs being the masters when it comes to deer work although others will disagree im sure Here she is at work this is her 7mth old pup im just starting Do you intend using Fern for any deer work???

Anybody that thinks having wolves back in the uk should check out whats happening in Norway, unlike us they have no choice in the matter as wolves and other large predetors ie bears ,lynx and wolverines are crossing the border from Sweeden in a steady flow, in the summer months sheep bare the brunt of this invasion, but as the sheep are housed for the winter thier atenttion moves to the local fauna ie red/ roe deer and elk, in some areas there will be no elk of the year to be found , elk are as big as a horse and the alpha pair of wolves will kill one every 2 or3 days with the rest of the pac

  11. If you killed it and cooked it the same day i would say it was far to fresh, let it cool and mature for at least a few days........
  12. Hey VON, thats a cracker of a beast.Did you know he was on your ground???? I always have slight feelings of guilt when the time comes to take out a buck that ive been watching for some months or even years,but we should all treat ourselves to a trophy now and again do you concider him as a good or average buck for your area???
