    LOL, tried that once with my bosses PET weimeramer that had got hold of a muntjack, did he let go? did he feck, he aslo had a shock collar to stop him leaving the boundry, but 4 lambs later the boss decided to put up a bigger fence, never know though, it MAY work on some dogs, just not in my experience. I run lure coursing days with every breed you can imagine, of the thousands of times we've done it we've always managed to get the dogs off the lure using one of those methods. Even the strongest, most extreme, headstrong dogs will let go with the proper use of a breaking stick. i won

    whin you dogs wont catch much down my way if they think they will be called of at some point ,when they see EYES they have to go all the way ,they catch or miss depends on them ..i run every thing i see never mind how far away , unless i turn the lamp of for some reason, then they can and do still catch in the dark . .no ifs or buts .that is what decides the numbers at the end of the night .

    we all consider things different , to me if a dog keeps running all night long and will get up in the morning and do the same then it has to have a lot of stamina ,the one thing my dog and some of my mates dogs do different to most is ,they will cover 2or 3 times more ground during a lamping trip than most ,simply because they are worked loose and they will always be on rout down the beam when we put it on ,just incase there is some thing to chase ,they only go down steady and always looking ,for eyes or movement .its hard to explain with out seeing it happen .if people are honest ,they will

    he is ok ,but could be better ,i have owned better ,his size lets him down some times ,but not that often ,he has guts ,but also a brain that helps him keep out of trouble when needed .he can run all week long ,but that is down to how he was taught from day one and the amount of work he gets . he could also do with a bit more speed ,but he makes up for that because of the way he works the lamp ,ie ,he is a sneeky fecker .that just about sums him up .those that have seen him work will tell you the same ,but they would love to own him . .
