jesus if i had of known that id have taken him to the vet today i bought a dog a couple of years ago because i felt so sorry on it it was in the worst shape it could of been without out dieing it was so week and nervise i just couldnt leave it there.i fed the dog up got it out of been so nervise and gave itaway 2 a good working home for free and it turned out 2 be a cracker.

i work both my dogs day and nite with terriers bushing and alot of ferreting dont tend 2 use my whippet as much at nite cause my bitch will go all nite. red bitch 20 months old 24tts saluki/whippet/greyhound/1/8 irish terrier whippet dog 2 1/2 half 22tts cracking dogs there mighty celt,i will be working mine during the day with ferrets and mooching,she has a long way to go yet though lol,3/4 whippet 1/4 bedlington,she has settled in well,cheers......john nice pup sh

thats what im thinking, i said in previous thread i have only ever worked or bred bull greyhounds but know from their size at 18 weeks they were as big as he is and easily made 26/'27. so im not 100% he is a small dog like beddy whippet. ill have to post his progress, im pumping plenty of mince and working dog mix in to him so im sure ill soon know whats running through his veins. could be a beddy/whippet cross deer/grey. as it looks like he has beddy and deerhound in him

Just the way I read it sorry. every time your bitch comes in 2 heat more than likely she is going 2 have a phanthom pregnenicey my old collie grey was like this happend 3 times in a row so i got her spayed and she was grand after that.if it happens again and u dont plan on breeding from her then i would get her spayed.

never seen r worked with a teckel but i heard great things about them if i ever had the chance would defo get one. teckel russell would be a great dog above and below ground.

its not just collies that turn them off the ditch mate any good lamping dog should do this.

yeah mine will hit cover if the rabbits there i mean the likes of bull crosses where if they chase a rabbit through the same fence 9 times they will try just as hard the tenth time when theres obviously no hope. i am a great believer that collie crosses can estimate thier own capabilities and judge weather a run is feasible or not, where other more simple minded crosses only think 'kill'. whos the boss mate u r your dog its as simple as this if u slip your dog on a rabbit and your dog dont move its a jacker simple as whats the point in keeping a dog that only goes for easy rabbits.most col

my mate had a deerhound/grey first cross for 11years died at the start of the season.was a good lamping bitch for rabbits but she was a great fox bitch we used 2 call her the cruncher wants she got hold it was allover in seconds.a very good dog for drawing fox allso.

Hows it goin celt,i've had four full borders all sounded at the right time when close to game in cover.Have hunted with a mates tekel dont get one of these they start soundin on the first hint of scent,scare all game nearby noisy bast--ds.
