  1. Humm i beg to differ. I like the collie crosses and bull crosses, My wheaton has collie in her hence her meral eye. But i have seen each work, and personally not cos i live with a wheaton and watch her work i feel she is a better worker. She shows determination and is a lovely pet.

  4. Yea i have a hutch with chicken wire although ferrets have been known to chew threw it! Mine is ok so far dont think the ferret is clever enough lol

  6. Thats a lush dog btw! Good on u for taking him in. He looks like he's deff got collie and a wee bit of saluki (cos of the ears n narrow small face in the pic) and mainly greyhound Keep us posted on his progress with lamping n training him FM

  16. here are my 2 new polecats Brother and sister i believe and they are just 2 yrs old. Very cute and sociable. Dont bite at all when being handled. Just to say anyone around my area southern scotland who needs to line there jill i have a vesectmised sandy hob and now a unvsectamised polecat hob just PM if you want to know more about them.   17. Aye its total commen sence but what if a ferret was to escape its hutch or something and you had your dog outside....whats it's natural instinc going to be wheather its been trained to ferrets or not?
  18. I was having a long debate with my boyfriend about ferrets and working dogs. He is adiment you can train a dog to not kill a ferret...i disagreed as i have read on here [bANNED TEXT] people have owned dogs they thought were golden around ferrets then bang the dogs eaten the ferret..... What do you all think? FM
  19. What was the total cost of the operation I am going to get my jills jabbbed this year and pick up a hob from my ferreting partner he is breeding his jill, I plan to get the hob vasectomised. So I wont have to jab my jills in future. Well i think all vets vary in [bANNED TEXT] they charge. I got my hob snipped for 100 quid and then was told its not 100% garentee it will stop him from producing young. I was like Right then thats made me feel good - why tell me after the op is over with!?! Grr! Anyway my hobs balls never rele swelled up but i still have the stitches in....nylon ones...i

  21. Aww he looks like a cutie! When are the pups due. We have just lined our wheaton X grey with a Bullcross Grey who is proven a good worker so just hoping we get some good pups! Here is a pic of lady the Wheaton Cross. Looks pretty identical to yours mate!

  23. Hey! Well i have read on here on another occasion that the hob and i think the jills stay in season from now untill august, so they have a pretty long time to be still in. Maybe the hobs just aint fully ready yet but it sounds like the case cos he is having ago. Are you wantin to breed them? FM
