Joe...what fieldsports do you love that you can't do in Australia? you can ferret, do fox, pig, deer, course hare and shoot. They don't have the foxes to ground in the same number as us, but apart from that I don't see a problem.
How much Rich Are you getting more running dogs then or going for the pigging route?
Probably both mate.
The house was around A$450,000....There's a stack of nice houses where I want to live. We are looking to get one built to be honest with you mate. Works out better and cheaper in the long run.
It is a big decision mate and it's especially hard for you as my other half is Australian so I have something to go to so to speak. I went up home to Durham for the last time this weekend and said my goodbye's and that was difficult, but the world is a small place and I'm going to be coming back all the time anyway. Me and our lass want to start a family soon and I don't want them growing up where we live now. I live in a two up two down terrace with main roads all around me and pikeys roaming the streets. When you have the windows open at night in the summer you just get woken up by the drunk
Count those ribs this is a bitch I used to have (bad pic) and she was like this all year round. The above pic was when I had her really fit.
There's fit and then there's fit Electro's dog is lean but you don't know the circumstances around why. I've seen heaps of bulldogs as lean as that at various do's around the country. It's not a condition I'd keep my dogs in all the time, but I've had them like that before. Don't see a problem. Nothing to do with not enough food. Good grub and a lot of work.
I had this problem with my bitch when she was younger. The issue arose because I was lamping her on the same ground that she hunted during the day so she was familiar with where the game could be. It was difficult for her as I wanted her for a mooching dog during the day and I wanted the exact opposite at night. It's a question of patience and time and getting the dog out. When she was new to the lamp things were testing, but over time and with a little experience they soon learn that the quicker she comes back to me the quicker she gets another run. She is still a bugger on her first couple o
