    forgot to mention, seen about 10 woodies at the bottom of some trees about yards away, Scotty said he was going to go and try and stalk towards them, im thinking 'no chance' but on he goes, gets to about 30 yards from them, and misses lol sorry Scott mate

    Hi all, just a quick write up. Headed to a new permission today for some ferals, its a farm me and the girlfriend often go to get ice cream from, had noticed the ferals before so thought i would head over yesterday and see if they want them shot, farmer said he already has people that do it but allowed me to do it also. Me and my mate Scotty headed over this afternoon with the S410 and Ultra. Started off quite slow with a few straight misses but soon picked up with a few kills, just waiting for them to land, pop one, off they all went, wait for them to come back and same again. it

    Cheers mate. Aw mate i love the prosport, only shot it on targets so far. Got one of they resettable targets, can hit the small kill zone about 7/10 times at 30 yards and was tryin the full size kill zone at 40 yards today and was doin about the same. That was rested off a bag with a pillow in it though, bit more practice before i take it hunting.

    Well since i had a half day in work today, decided to go round to a farm 2 mins drive from my house. Popped in on my way home to make sure it was ok then went home to get ready. Farmer said his brother might be coming up to shoot so looks like im not the only one shooting there. Got home, got ready, filled up the S410 and went to check zero, zero was fine but because i have been practicing with the Prosport, i was to heavy on the trigger a few times and pulled it before i meant to, but soon got used to it.     Depends on your budget mate. Also, are you wanting a precharged or a springer. If precharged, you need to budget for a bottle or stirrup pump. A decent first PCP would be a BSA Ultra or Air Arms S200. If its a springer your after, an Air Arms TX200 or Weihrauch HW would be a good starter. They can be picked up for good prices 2nd hand. John

    Cant comment on the 97k, and only got my Prosport on Friday so experience with it is minimal, but so far i love it. It shoots very smoothly and shoots accurately to the 25 yards ive been practicing at so far. Also have an S410, cant say a bad word about it. More accurate then the person behind the trigger, no problems with it what so ever, good shot count, multishot etc. But think i will always have a springer (dont think i will ever change the Prosport) in my collection. Wether its plinking, hunting or HFT, i think sometimes you get a bit more fun from shooting a springer. Each to the

    Cheers Shay mate. Yup delighted i went with it. Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the AAOC, this must have been the one you mentioned in your pm eh? Aye i cant wait to get out with it but will need to put some practice in. Think im ok out to 25 yards, think it would be a good gun for shooting from a hide, not too long and not too loud unsilenced. Any idea if you can get a silencer for it? Or do you have to modify it to fit one? Think i will get an adjustable butt pad for it as well. John
