Its apparently bollocks that they can pass colds on to humans & the other way round, it could also be an allergy to somethink, but either way i would keep an eye on the ferret & pop it to the vets if it gets worse

Theres been people with ferrets in season since january this year, i also rememer reading someones jill gave birth just after christmas Mine have been in season a fair while now

I have has hobs have these type of moults you have described about 4 weeks after a castrate, a sort of stress moult, the hair pulls away in your hands & leaves a nice downey coat underneath minus the guard hairs , but they do put the coat back on a bit later in the yr

What pisses me off is i have always had a dog here & made sure the dog was secure in my garden, ensuring all fences were in good order & i have never allowed any dogs i have kept to be a pest to other people. Both houses eitherside of me have had over the yrs problem dogs yet its something they have never taken seriously, keeping there dogs under propper control, several times i have fallen out with folks over there dogs being a pest. They make me mad silly selfish people
