Both dogs look fine to me infact they look as though they have more meat on them than mine These are the most recent picture off her , i am paranoid about the dogs condition anyway & spend half my life mithering about her, but she is a very special dog so basically i have no idea if she is still underweight , she wont be worked so wont get the runs others do & no doubt will

I am not knocking anyone who takes in animals of any species but theres good & bad in all, i was fooled by a woman donkeys yrs ago who advertised for fosterers for mainly sighthounds & sometimes cats , i phoned her & was told i wouldnt have to fund any veterinary bills & would be supplied with food & routine wormers & stuff like that, she dropped off a litter off collie pups & i didnt hear a bloody thing from her for weeks, all i got was a bag of beta puppy food that lasted a week & i was basically left to it. Oh i forgot to add my greyhounds taken age

Best thing i ever did was take on this track greyhound, i am learning so much from her, she is gentle, beautifully behaved & best off all my friend, go for it i say I have never looked back & wish i had done it sooner, i will look into taking another suitable bitch on in the next 12 months

Something like chudleys (dodson & horrell ) will be about the chepest of the better brands i think they do a 15 kilo bag & smaller ones Or if you have a pets at home nearby there own brands about £ 5/6 a 2 kilo bag if you only have a few ferrets

Did she share them with you I cant remember probably not. I remember i set aside a certain amount of money for her birthday present. But when it came to the crunch i couldn't spend it,, so i offered to take her food shopping instead. She picked up the croissants and some orange juice,, thats when i stepped in and stopped her. I said i'd buy her a proper present in the week knowing full well when she asked for it i'd tell her that boat had past. Food shopping how romantic, must admit it dont get my knickers wagging but each to there own

I have managed to take off the ends on all the claws , she hasnt objected to me doing this, i think i will file them a little bit as theres a couple of the darker ones that are still a little bit long I havent touched the dew claws should they be touched at all ?

To be honest at 8 yrs old i would be inclined to let him eat what he wants, he has managed the last 8 years so i wouldnt bother with any meat if he is happy

I totally agree if you want to keep your options open to breed in future years then i do think a vasectomise hob is by far the best way to go

To be honest i cant see any vet opting to use the ovaban if it does the same job as the Proligestone and thats the drug thats been approved to use in the species, i certainly cant see any vet just prescribing the ovaban unless they see the animal beforehand & i still think they would use the jill jab

I dont get it, the jill jab Proligestone is licenced to use in ferrets but has side effects as well like most stuff does , so why use a drug thats not licened to use in ferrets as the target species for this megestrol acetate (ovaban) is cats & dogs The jill jab is about the only drug that is licenced to use on ferrets thats the point i am trying to make
