That is a polecat ferret.Kay where was this population of wild polecats (just county will be close enough). Para it was Shropshire /Staffordshire border , the animal was clipped by a car as i recall & treated at a vet somewhere i just expected a ferret to be dropped off , this wasnt a ferret , that became obvious after it had been here a few days & bit me like no other bite i have had in my life , once i secured it it was fairly easy to look after , wouldnt touch anything other that fur & feather , wouldnt drink from a bottle & it screamed & backed up a corner in the

Thats the only good thing i don't use any pellets for slugs. It's just all that slime around her face not good There vile things anyway , luckly i dont get a great deal here , used to get lots of snails though

I hate it when they eat slugs , it disgusting, what bothers me is if the plugs have come across pellets , i dont know if they survive long enough to make there way to the run where there attracted by food I think slugs carry lung worm , i could be wrong though

When i was about 11 i found a fossil & the moment i pulled the dirt off it it struck me i was the first living thing to see that for millions of yrs, a moment thats stayed with me for life

Its a normal reaction i remember putting a collar on my lurcher pup & he screeched llike a banshee walking backwards trying to get out of it

I had a wild polecat droppd off here as a ferret yrs ago , didnt see it in the day , it was a doddle to clean out as it scruied off into the run & hid while i did the bedding & them ran back to the bedding box where it stayed till dark. It crapped everwhere & didnt smell like a ferret , its coat had a blue tinge to it in the light , beautifull animal all the same it was released where there was already a population of polecats , nice to see but certainly not an animal ment to be contained in a back garden
