Will cheapcat biscuits contain no meat products in then what so ever , its vegetable protein, it may say its 40% protein but its where that protein origonates from that matters, ferret = carnivore = meat If people are feeling the pinch move some ferrets on keep the bare min & give them the best rather than 10 + & give them a crap diet because you cant afford to feed decent food

a tray of chicken wings from tesco isnt any more than about 1.50 if there not able to afford the propper dry food then thats another cheap way to feed

But if you use a good brand like arden grange ot iams its no cheaper , this 99p a box shite is just that shite, its not good for them for the reasons i explained earlier

I had it quite bad when i was pregnant & had to suffer it basically , other than that i just took some strong painkillers when i had it at a later date

But they need meat protein not vegetable protein , its ok to feed most things occasionally within reason but i would not feed it as a staple day in day out, i know the prices appealing but to me if you have a supply of meat why feed a cats diet to a ferret

The protein in that stuffs soya , not animal, it wont keep the ferrets urine ascidic enough possibly causing struvite sones to build up
