Well she isnt to bad by them but i dont trust her one little bit if i got one out & held it , i reccon she would have it out my hands My shepherd's like that, gives them two licks then snap! in with the fangs I know where i am with the male he would just kill them , but she is a devious bitch & lulls you into a false sense of security , very quick reacting as well when your guards down

  8. If you have got a little bit of olive oil or sunflower oil , put a few drops on a plate or on each ferret , then while there busy lapping it up take a few photos
  9. Feed more than it can eat in one sitting , i wouldnt bother handling for a week or so , just get it used to the fact that foods not going to be limited , then after a week or so just try hand feeding a little bit of meat , each time you want to handle it

Rabbit, pidgeon, birds the cats had when we had one before the greyhounds arrived a turkey that a gamekeeper friend of mine ran over , it was massive & i had to bin 3 parts of it , dead pet rabbit from next doors house , the bloke didnt like it & his Mrs left it there when she buggered off so when it died he said it may as well go to feed the ferrets
  11. I think once a day , say an hour or so when you can get in with them & play with them , rolling them round & generally interacting with the kits .
  12. Scoobs i am a perfectioninst , i want perfect & in my eyes have only acheived it once , suppose its what drives me if i take 300 pics a day & get 1 decent one i will do the same the next day untill i get my idea of perfect

The one i got is just a few pixcells more than this one i think , to be honest its no good at full zoom , very poor quality pics, close up is good though, if your more than a few feet away from your subject then its basically not much cop, ok for what i wanted close up stuff I will look out some examples of what i have taken with it & post them in a min
  18. Thinking logically would you want to eat in the wide open , even big cats like to hide there food from other predators

  21. Thats Brenda she is like a fruit bat hangs upside down on the run roof , quite a little livewire , i had a silver jill before her Gloria but she died last year , lovely jill she was
  22. i could see the difference while i was taking the pics , but the natural light kept changing so i had to do a bit of fiddling after each shot which was a bit of a pain , i am getting the basic feel for this slr stuff though

They are so loved up i tried so hard to get then in different poses , the cobs a bit scarey & i just have to stop myself pushing my luck all in all there fantastic creatures & demand respect , brilliant to be able to get that little bit closer especially as they have young , but they do move on when they have had enough
