I am struggling with this camera & the settings, i took some pics of the birds today & most of them came out white , i just dont understabd this white ballence thing, what does it have to be on when your taking pics on a sunny day & on water & in the sky v most came out like this , what the hell have i done to it

It was on p setting whatever that is i keep taking the same pic but move the dial across on every setting & then pick the one that looks better than the others , not got a clue about it really I am just off to take some photos of the swans & ducks up the pool so i will post good & bad ones so people can point me in the right direction on the bad ones & perhaps what settings to use to correct the mistakes

When i took ferret in years ago i collected a polecat jill & 3 half grown kits she had earlier in the year, the 3 jills went to a gamekeeper friend & i kept the mom called her Maureen & every year if i had any kits she would mother them , just wash them to death & generally cluck over them Rather funny seeing her dragging hob kits around bigger than she was , probably the best ferret i ever had untill she died at around 8 yrs old

theres a thing on the end of the lense but i am still pointing & shooting basically so what comes out ok is alright i cant get out of the habit of thinking i have to be an inch from the subject to get focus

Yes there the first propper ones i have taken , having a problem with the focus though, i cant seem to get the bit i want in focus , think i am going to have to keep fiddling with it

The first two will go in the coloured classes & the last one the albino class , they will look at eyes teeth , ears coat & overal appearence & how the animal moves basically

I like to think they did , i must admit i find the planets in general facinating & theres a man at my work who is in to all this stuff big time he is going to bring me some pics he has taken over the last 40 yrs of what he has done Who watched the sky at night as a kid , i loved it

Yes he did a 13 week course there , he is doing it again in September on a slightly more advanced level , but he is hoping he will be able to be a firefighter when he is old enough to start training

good idea kay would save a lot of problems .. .john Suppose it can just be added to the sales & wanted part of the forum , people will soon be trusted if enough folks leave possitive feedback & are honest

I think the bottom line is be vary wary of who you buy from, perhaps a new section can be added on the forum , satisfied customers & good service from sellers, like the feed back thing on ebay That way you can have a look at who makes & sells good gear & who honours there transactions fully

The trouble is in the first instance he was selling dvd's on ebay & said he was deleted because of copyright issues, people must have been aware they were bidding for copys , even if they didnt receive them , it would be interesting to see one of the origonal adverts that was placed on ebay and if it said they were origonal dvd's

dont matter if it was 100 year old and it doesn't matter if he got the problem sorted. its happened far to many times for any excuses. the reason he is late with some people is because he is testing the water to see howe far they will go to to get the goods. He seems a nice enough lad but dodgy. i don't like seeing anyone ripped off if i know them or not and i believe us hunters should watch each others backs and do all we can to stop things like this. Its about time you all woke up and see this lad for what he is. A SCAMMER HE WANTS YOUR HARD EARND CASH. Like i said before some will get great

The way i see it is these dvd's were copys anyway as it was pointed out by Baldie a mod on here at the time is illegal to copy & sell other peoples work , stealing call it what you like he is a con man & a thief of people cash , a criminal , keep the bugger close , the lure of young lads on here with money to spend will be to much of a temptation for him to resist , so BEWARE OF ANY PM DEALS OFFERED BY NEW MEMBERS I hate to think people are getting ripped off of there cash , personally if he or anyone else had ripped me off i would pay for them to be dealt with severely , a

If he is deleted then the folks who havent had there goods they paid for will loose that contact, he will have to come on here at some point

This thread is from 2006 theres a chance dogman got the problem sorted out, not making excuses for anyone , i would be more interested in the very recent deals that havent been honoured rather than something over 2 yrs old
