  4. took my pup out tonight for her first time on the lamp. shes 9 month in the middldle of august. ive mooched her during the day since 3 month but only retrieved with her on the lamp. i lit up the lamp and theres a clapper in the middle of field so i walked her onto it (with butterflys in my stomach lol) it jumped up so i slipped her. she caught the rabbit with ease with a perfect strike, my older dog wasnt striking propperly till about 14 month. she then went on to catch five out of 7 runs before i called it a night. im absolutly over the moon lol. i was a bit disapointed with her retrieving as

  10. ive had my pup out since 3 months just mooching loose with older dog, she got her rabbit at about 4 month when the older dog pushed it out the bush towards her. she is about 8 and half month now and has had about four daytime rabbits, not done any lamping yet bar retreving dummy on the lamp. she ran a fully grown big rabbit last week when the older dog pushed it out the ruff into a big field. i was very suprised how quick she got on terms with it and stuck with it for about 30 seconds before it got thru a hedge. here she is 3/8 5/8 collie grey. oh she has never made a squeek when chasing e
  11. shes two and a half. she is a decent lamping dog when fit and very clever and obedient. i was wanting to line her with a saluki whippet greyhound in time but if shes getting bad phantoms every six month that last four month there will be hardly time to work her.
  12. my bitch has come into heat again, she has not long been over her last phantom pregnancy, it took about four months from her first bleeding to come back to normal. if she has one as bad again she will be usless for half the season. should i think about getting her spaid or will it afect her drive and performance etc. cheers.
