It's a named river but in it's infant stages, runs through one of the a Yorkshire dales. It's a good fish for the water. Sat in the sun for a while after watching some Pied Flycatchers, heard them calling and didn't recognise the sound......result !
Klinkhammer......had pricked him a couple of hours before and knew he was a good fish. Came back and second run through he took. I put him back, he got lucky lol
Good call poor mistle thrushes around here just keep getting robbed by bandits sadly song thrushes are becoming scarce
Yep mistle thrushes seem an easy target, they build quite early and in fairly clear view of corvids. Last year had one build in my garden twice that was robbed by crows. Still got plenty of song thrushes here.
