  1. if yours is an average all-rounder in that case nearly every lurcher i ever owned and seen was "an average all-rounder"its just what suits are own needs no not realy watchman,, i dont concider the kelpie cross even an avrage all rounder, she wont do some quary, and even as a young dog befor the ban was not much cop at catching hares. like i say a good rabbit lamper , and good ferreting comanion. but im happy enough with that cheers TOMO sorry read yours wrong,yes if "you" the owner are happy with an average all-rounder,not you tomo personaly

  6. i use a 12v 7amp/h gives about 3 1/2 to 4 hours hours constant use and also carry a spare,although obviously something bigger will give you more run time Cheers next question where`s the best /cheapest place to get one from. any electrician should be able to get them for you as they are used in alarm back up systems and changed on a regular basis

  12. took it on because you wanted a companion,bit different than wanting a working dog dont you think,i mean after all if its a companion you want then any rescue would likely fit the bill,im not saying they not full of good pets but thats all they probably are thats all I totally agree with you i chose the breed i have because they are generally calm quiet dogs .. and suit my needs perfectly i dont disagree with you not wanting an adult dog because it still has to be housed & fed even if its not doing what you expect it to do looks of it you made a very good choice
