  2. theyre not renowned for their hunting abilities mate but as with everything theres always an exception to the norm,what kind of stuff has he caught yeah thats what always has confused me as most literature says they were breed for hunting. But what exactly lol. Yeah mine will chase animals and catch them but it's giving the kill to me thats the problem lol. Very stubborn. He's caught Rats, rabbits, Squirrals, a peacock (whoops), and a German Shepherd that was not good.(whoops again. obviously didn't kill it). He's good with live stock and cats though. Would be ok if he let things
  3. ye removing is an option,but i no some lads tape there,s up to prevent accidents,just wondered what the best product was,

  7. true, but when they have had smacks from them [E.F] , it can sometimes put a dog of striking at a rabbit when it runs to the edge. As you say not as bad as[ b w], but[ both] can+will feck your dog in the long term.?? thanks bird thats my concern,
  8. rabbit getting through it dog not, all the burrows are one the other side of the fence,

  10. hi folks,just got hold of some new permission,loaded with rabbits but the problem i can see is alot of electric fencing to keep the sheep in, has anyone had experience with this and any suggestions how to best deal with it,atb jamiew
  11. you know jack for a young fifteen year old you can certainly compose a good scrounging thread , your grammer is very good , spelling is excelent and for someone who has been given the "gifts" of speech and composure i find it incredible that you are just 15 and that you dont have a family to help you without having to put on good intentioned people of this forum . being from such a good background makes me wonder why you have to resort to asking people on this forum anything , jack ward i think your a fraud got to agree with you john5,

  14. after reading gaz,s topic as above,just wanted to tell a story to try and explain what i think he,s asking, as a teenager my girlfriend used to hunt with the brockelsby hunt and her farther and i used to follow in the land rover on one accasion the hounds got on a fox and it give them a fantastic hunt over fields across ditches,woods even through a farm yard,and finally when the fox was tirering it managed to climb up a fallen tree,the hounds were going mad underneath it it could of easy been climbed to or shot,but after 2or 3 minutes the huntsman looked at the fox and with the help from the w

  17. le chameau (think thats spelt right) had a pair for 2 yrs now and i wear them every day £50 worth every penny,my mrs has a pair ov hunters and hers are just as good atb jamiew,

  23. carp feed all year round, you just have to work that bit harder in extreme weather condition,dont put a hookbait in the usual spots,try the margins and shallower areas, hot conditions try zigs on patrol routes, hope this helps,jamiew
